Primrose stood still in front of the vanity mirror. She heaved a sigh as her eyes shifted to the paper bag that contained her present for Sander. It had been an hour since they went home after the birthday dinner she prepared at the Mortel residence. She intended to give it to the birthday boy during the celebration, but a sense of embarrassment obviously won over her.
