Marco is a rich sadistic billionaire playboy. He was lonely because his parents put their business first and didn’t have time for him. They wanted to give him everything he wanted and a stable life. He was spoilt with riches, he had a house, flashy cars and all money could buy. He thought true love didn’t exist because his parents never loved him and chose money over him.
Ever since Marco was young, He had no control over the family he had been born into, well no one chooses where one will be born from it is just what bestowed upon him. A wealthy life, He had everything, the best of everything to be precise. He is blessed with the opportunity to be at the best school. He wears the best clothes and has the best shoes. He drives the most expensive cars. Money was not a problem. Marco, lacked one thing though, the affection and love of his parents.
Every child wants the approval of his or her parents and that was the only thing Marco wanted in life to be appreciated, get the approval of his parents and be loved by them. He was a straight A students.
Being the quarterback in school sports, the best in everything he laid his hands on he excelled Marco put in the work and hours just to prove himself to his parents and just to grab the attention and love but all failed him.
Being rich, his parents always told him that the only way for life to be stable in that manner is for them to work hard, that is, impromptu business meetings and traveling around the world every second.
Marco tried so hard to hide the feelings of being broken by the acts of not getting to spend much time with his parents especially being the only child this made things very difficult for Marco he lacked father-son bond alongside mother-son bond he didn’t have anyone until his parents finally decided to leave him in the hands of his maid Maggie But in a house, Thinking that would fix everything the time they lost in total
It was almost as if Maggie give birth to Marco. She took care of him and was there for him. Maggie tried as much as possible to be there for Marco and take away the pain of not being with his parents. it was almost as if he was an orphan because his parents made no time and efforts to be with Marco.
Even to the extent of his birthdays sometimes being forgotten by his parents. They repeat the same gifts by mistakes only because they don’t keep track with their only son. Marco saw this as a sign that they do not even have him in mind. Marco tried everything possible to have his parents around. He tried to be stubborn in school for him to be punished just to have his parents come around only to get time with them, and with all this they still couldn’t see how much their son needed them.
At times when they came around they don’t even spend a day with him.
Marco just gave up on them as they give up on him and decided to embrace life as he got. Accepting To replace his parents with money and stopped believing in love he felt he would never get such affection from anyone and decided to embrace the lifestyle as such.
He made friends, got into temporary relationships knowing for a fact that it was never going to last. It’s never real. It’s just for the time being. He knew for a fact that all the girls that he had ever dated were with him because of his money. He threw the best parties in town. Some even lasted for a week. Everyone knew Marco. He was very popular most girls just want to be around him for the fame. No one cared about how he really felt about anything no one wanted his opinions on a real level he just took whatever anyone said as it was. He just didn’t know how to express himself anymore, as he accepted that he felt he could leave that life for the rest of his life. But all that changed when he met the love of his life Dolores Morris.
It was one summer morning, when Marco’s friends decided to go on a trip just for fun purposes, Marco agreed and went with his friends. On their way, they saw Flyers of a program called summer fest in a town they were passing through for their trip and decided to take a break and relax enjoying the program. It was there where Marco saw Dolores Morris for the first time the moment he saw her he just couldn’t take his eyes off of her. There was just something unique about the way she looked, her smile, and how she walked.
He kept on staring and staring and staring. He just didn’t know how to take his eyes off her. Marco walked towards her when she was at the Ferris wheel. She was in the queue.
“Why is a fine young lady like you in a queue, I’m willing to pay everybody here and even buy the Ferris wheel for you” He asked.
Dolores smiled and said “you don’t have to that. There’s virtue in patience. It would get to my turn eventually.”
Marco laughed as he said “Wow, a girl with good character. Anyway, no one turns me down. And I’m serious about the offer. I have to show you what I can do. Just dare me. Dare me to prove it and I will, all for you.”
Dolores answered and said “it’s really not necessary”
but Looking at the queue she felt she could miss her curfew and her mom will be disappointed in I wasn’t in her. She answered let’s do it! Marco Immediately gave out money to everybody in the queue as a compensation with smiles on their faces they all left and bought the Ferris wheel ticket for Dolores.
In shock, “Dolores asked “what do you for a living?”
Marco answered “I have rich parents” with a smile.
Dolores answered and said “it makes sense.”
She was so excited because she felt that at last she could have fun with her family later and would be surprised to find out what was in store for her.
Dolores couldn’t wait to get home to tell her parents and especially her little brother, Martin Morris about the Ferris wheel.
Marco and Dolores had so much fun with the Ferris wheel screaming and going up and down and up and down like no one’s business they were both scared but powered through because they had each other.
They decided to take a pause off their fun because Dolores had her bracelets stuck on the machine. They were finally able to remove it but it was ruined.
Marco picked it up and told her “I can’t fix it don’t be sad, but first for safekeeping I’ll keep it in my pocket.”
Dolores agreed and smiled and said “boy of many wonders”
Dolores told Marco how bad she wanted to be at summer fest.
She went on saying “you really don’t know how bad I wanted to be here, seeing this happen every yeah missing out on it. It was very painful so I planned to make it a possibility this year. I had schemes in my head to sneak out of the house to be at this program. My only motivation was the fact that it was going to be the last! Can you believe that? The last, but I just had to gather courage to get permission from my mom. Yeah yeah I know I’m a scaredy cat but still I’m here and that’s all that matters.”
Marco answered “you’re not a scarerdy cat as long as you made all those schemes in your head. That was your Plan B. Either ways you would still be here and that’s all that matters. I agree with you on that and I’m glad you had that Plan B because I don’t know what I would have done if you weren’t here with me right now.”
Dolores smiled and said “wow you are a charmer too? Interesting” with a smile on hair face. Dolores’s time was up and she had to leave. She thanked Marco for making her first and last summer fest good for her and told him she’ll never forget this day. As she was taking steps away from Marco, Marco asked “What’s your name? How would I reach you?” Dolores turns and answers Marco that she had to leave.
Marco shouted “How are we going to meet up? When will I see you again?”
Dolores turns and said to Marco “We will meet again someway somehow if it was meant be”
The only thing Marco had to remember Dolores by was her bracelet he had kept for her for safe keeping.
