72 HOURS KILL MISSION EPISODE NINETEEN

I was shaken not by the one person who was supposed to be my best friend's friend.. Janice was not supposed to find out my true identity because she was the one who was supposed to tell me everything about storm and what happened after i went to jail. She should have known Debby way better than i did and this....this was not good.

Janice: i said start taking..

Me: if i were you i would put that gun..you came off as a greedy b***h and you were willing to get a check that doesn't belong to you. You even lied about Debby's mum being dead so that she would not be the one to receive it.

Janice: there is no Cheque right?

Spider: she is playing games.

Me: maybe i was, but doesn't it bother you that Debby is dead and no one really knows what happened to her?.. i came to you because I thought you were the one that could help me uncover the truth and knowing that you hate me, i had to put on that mask and act like someone else...

I could see the confusion on their faces and they couldn't tell how geniune i was because i was a good actress and if i failed to convince them, i was going to kill them.. I don't know how but I'm one person that prison did not only correct but made a better killer...

I walked away from behind the door and headed to the couch and i watched her lower the gun. They both did and it was a sign of relief..

Spider: she saw you at the same party with storm..what were you doing there?.

Me: who is storm?...

Janice: don't play dumb.

I had this confused look on my face and i was obviously playing them..

Me: the guy i was with, his name is Rex not storm unless he has an alter ego..

The spider guy walked up to me and put the gun to my fore head..

Spider: i know your type..i have been in this game long enough to know that you are a trained liar and I'm not like her. I can sniff a liar from miles away..

Me: if you can sniff a liar then you sure as hell can sniff how dangerous i am.. get that thing off my face..

He didn't. He still had his gun tightly clinched in his hand..

Janice: drop the gun spider, she could be telling the truth. She was Debby's best friend too remember?...

She said pulling him back..

Janice: what do you want with the Rex guy...he protected you more than anyone else in club..

Me: I don't want anything from him. I was in a club and in a club people mingle. Rex was my boss and he was a good boss. I would just like to know if he knew the people who set me up and see if he can help bring Debby's death to justice..

Janice must have really been convinced by my lies as she convinced spider that they should leave and it was about time they did that because if any of the guys found them there, it was going to be chaotic.

Janice: i will visit again..oh and as for that Rex guy.. stay away from him..

Me: i will..

I faked a smile as i watched them walk away then i took a deep breath. This was not the end of it but two more people had been added to my kill list..

I got to the bathroom and took a good shower then got out and lotioned my body sitting in front of the mirror. I looked into that mirror and i had no idea who i was seeing. What happened to the innocent girl that i was before life gave me a hot slap across my face. I asked myself alot of questions that i didnt have answers to but i was convinced of one thing... People were going to die and it was going fo be a messy affair..

Day two of the mission...

I got dressed like a lady that i was.. wore my fake face and sprayed myself before looking at the mirror one mire time and walking away without a smile, i mean what was there fo smile about..

Walked back into the living room and when i got there, Dante was seated on the couch and for a second, he startled me..

Dante: you should learn to lock that door you know..

Me: yeah right!

Dante: you look beautiful..

Me: why are you here?

Dante: you sure do not know how to respond to a compliment..

He said getting up and walking up to me.

He rook my purse from the table and handed it to me..

Dante: I'm here to take you on our mission. I will be the one to drive you fo that bastards office..

Me: oh, change of plans.. we are going to his private home..

He gave me a that's not so good look bit I didn't care. Did he even know i was going after him and his brother next?..

He let me walk out first and he followed me from behind. I had thought one of his guys would come to drive me around but he showed up himself meaning he was going to make sure the job was done...

We got to the car and he opened the door for me and i got in.. he went round and got in too then drove off. I was on the look out for any strange cars but i didn't see any meaning Storm was not in sight and that was a good thing because he could be an i***t at times.

Dante: where were you last night?..

Me: i was out having sex.. what sort of question is that.. are you my father now?..

He gave me a stern look but didn't respond..

We drove for a few minutes then he finally broke the silence because it was beginning to get awkward. See the thing is that when i was taken to Rex's hide out, i kind of fell for Dante. He was sweet to me, all masculine and in control. He provoked some feelings inside of me until i realized that his life was just another twist. I felt cheated and betrayed... They set me up for my death and the truth is, i had no business being loyal to him whatsoever..

Dante: I'm sorry about the stupid question. I just feel responsible for you and everything that happens around you.

Me: why?..

Dante: because I care.. you are wanted right left and centre and its my duty to make sure you are safe.

I didnt sat anything to that so he must have gotten offended or whatever he felt that made him pull over abruptly and almost throw us off the windscreen..

Me: what's wrong with you, you want me to die?

Dante: what do you want?..

Me: you are asking me that as if i have a choice..

Dante: I'm giving you one right now.. what do you want Milan..

Me: i want my life to go back to what it was before you and your pycho boss screwed me over. I want my best friend back.. i want a normal life.. can you give me that?..

He took a deep breath and tightly held on to the steering wheel.

Me: see don't ask questions you have no answers to yourself. I knew you were twisted, i knew i couldn't trust you because i heard most of your phone calls with Rex and i knew you were setting me up for something and you know what, you proved me right. I was wrong to think there was anything good inside that heart..

He started the car again and drove off without another word. Dante's betrayal hurt me more than any other person hurt me. I worked for his brother and they conspired to sell me off to some guy whom they want me to kill now...

After Janice failing to show up at Storm's house, storm went to her place that morning but he did not find her. He called her phone but it went unanswered so he got back to the car and told Jeff to find that phone. He wanted fo know exactly where Janice was..

Jeff: you think Dante got a hold of her?..

Storm: don't know... find her!

Jeff got on his laptop and started working on finding Janice..

Jeff: why is this girl so important to you yet you say you are not interested in her?.

Storm: I'm not.. but she us an important part of my mission..

Jeff: why?.

Storm: you think i should tell you that after telling Dante how to find her last might, what... You think i was impressed with that s**t you pulled?..

Jeff: did you leave me with a choice.. i should have let your ass got shot last night then maybe you would know that i was trying to save your arrogant ass.

Storm threw him a look that he could not interpret but he didnt care..

Jeff: your girl is in this neighborhood.. follow this signal..

Storm started the car and drove to where the signal was leading him to.

Things were not settled at spiders house either. Spider felt like they had been played and accaused Janice of trusting so easy..

Janice: what did you want me to do. What part of her trying to figure out what happened to Debby didn't you understand?..

Spider: open your eyes.. how did she, Storm and Rex end up in the same party.

Janice: you know the Rex you are talking about is..

Spider: i know who Rex is to you but if he gave a damn about you, you wouldn't be living this life. All these people have something in common and i hope you won't be dead by the time it blows up.in your face..

Spider opened the door and walked out leaving her in the house. She dropped on the bed and lay on her back staring blankly at the ceiling..

We got to Rex's office and without a word to Dante, i got out and walked towards the entrance..

I was right on time and the receptionist told me to wait a few seconds as she notified her boss that i was already there..

I flashed a smile and sat on a seat she had pointed to...

A few minutes later she receives a call and she asks to escort me to her bosse's office and i followed her..

She ushered me in and closed the door behind her. I stood there and watched him stared and get lost for a moment and my voice snapped him back to reality..

Rex: have a seat beautiful.. you kept time..

Me: thanks you and yes, i do keep time always.

Rex: you are beautiful..

He said flipping off the photo of his wife that sat on the left side of the table..

Me: you don't have to do that really..

Rex: she's a distraction..

I smiled..

Rex: some wine?..

Me: right here?...

Rex: this is my office, i makes the rules..

Me: alright.. I'll have the wine..

He smiled and then got on the phone and called his secretary..

Dante was so uneasy in the car as he could not imagine how everything was going on back there. He had his gun just incase things flipped and he was ready to burst in there.

Storm got to the house where the signal was coming from and because he knew whose house it was, he didn't even knock.. he kicked in the door and pointed his gun ready to shoot and when Janice felt saa the door fly she grabbed her gun and shot at the door and to her surprise it was storm..

She jumped out of the bed and ran up to him..

Janice: storm!... Oh s**t!..
