ELENA....
I was not interested in breakfast I was interested in answers. I was having plenty of questions that needed answers.
But before I could ask,
Annarose started speaking as if knowing what was on my mind.
"Talk to us, Elena. We'll answer any question you have."
I started with my first and important question "What does it mean to be blood-bonded?"
"It's something rare and only happens when a vampire bites someone on a blood moon night." She replied.
Right then kassandra came and started explaining me. "Vampires used this to exploit humans. Vampires would bite as many people as possible and..."
"They would keep humans as pets."Logan said.
I started feeling scared at what he had just said, Annarose probably saw me getting sacred as she instantly started rubbing my shoulder reassuringly. That felt really homely.
"I was... someone's 'pet' too, so I understand how you feel." I looked surprisingly at kassandra at what she had said.
"You Don't Have To Talk About It." I said looking at her sad face.
"I can't even imagine what you went through, gosh."
"No, it's alright, I think you need to know this." She said giving me a reassuring look."
Though Kassandra started but hesitates and looks at Logan, Annarose answers.
It must be really hard for her.
"Logan set her free. His biological father, the one who turned him, was the leader of this clan, back then."
"My father was a horrible man. He took anyone he wanted as pets and killed them when he got bored." Logan said angrily.
"I tried to make him change his ways, but gave up. So after I turned 16, I left."
"A while later, he sent me a letter saying he was a changed man, and wanted me back."
"So I returned and he threw a ball.."

Logan's (POV)
I entered the ball and met my father, Archer.
"My Logan is finally home! I'm so happy!" Archer said giving me a hug.
"It's good to be back, father." I was also a little happy to see my father after years.
"I have a special gift to welcome you back, son!" He said.
He gestures behind him and I gasps to see a battered woman being led to him.
"I'm giving you my favorite pet - Kassandra!"
Shocking, I looked at her and saw bruises all over her body.
I was shaking with anger seeing the bite marks all over her body.
"I just couldn't take it anymore. So... I killed him and broke the bond between my father and Kassandra."
I was not guilty for what I did nor sad, not even today but just one question remained in my mind, How could he even do that?

Elena's (POV)
He killed his father? Ohh God I genuinely felt so bad for him. Even though he doesn't show emotions even when he was saying he killed him, his eyes say much more even though he tried to cover it with is usual choker face.
but I know at some point of heart it must be really hurtful for killing his own father.
Right then Kassandra started speaking taking me out of my thoughts.
"Logan took over his father's place and banned the other vampires of this clan from creating blood-bonds."
He banned the blood bonds? Now I know why he was so angry about this stupid bond.
"And look now! I've... made one myself! Now can you understand why I'm angry, Elena?" He said.
And now I feel so miserable, because of me he was going through all of this and what I just did was judging him.
"It's My Fault I am sorry to everyone I 'chose' to feed you my blood because your life was at stake..."
"And we're thankful for that, dear. So thankful." Annarose said in her motherly tone.
"Isn't there a way out of this?" I asked everyone.
Luther, who was listening to everything silently, finally speaks."
A blood-bond is forever. As long as the vampire lives, so does their bonded one"
