Did it mean anything to you?” Sofia’s voice is shaky. “It meant everything. I took it for granted, and I’ve regretted it every single day. I miss us, Oliv. I miss our connection, our laughter… everything.” Oliver looking away, hurt. “I don’t know if we can go back even to friendship after everything you’ve said and done. I almost lost my life because of you, and you come here to reconcile? “I understand if you’re angry..Sofia pleading, you have every right to be. But if you give me a chance, I promise to show you that I’ve changed. I want to rebuild what we lost, brick by brick.” Oliver paused and contemplating, “It’s not that simple, Sofie. Trust is broken, and it takes time to heal.” Sofia nodded..”I know. I’m willing to put in the work. I just need you to believe that I truly regret my decisions. I want to fight for us because you’re worth it.” Oliver looking into her eyes..”I need time to think. This isn’t something I can decide on the spot. But, i’m afraid, it’s too late. Sofia tears falling..”I understand. Just know that I’ll be here, waiting. No matter how long it takes, I’ll wait for the chance to make things right.” Oliver watches her, conflicted between the pain of their past and the hope of a possible future. But, he wondered why he doesn’t feel anything to her like before. Everything washes away and replaced by pain and disappointments. Sofia continues pleading and crying for regrets.
