Oliver’s Unexpected Comeback

OLIVER’S POV
Oliver has successfully deals with a billion-dollar project from Platinum Star Group of companies. He planned for the expansion of his company’s big project in real state. He wanted to celebrate this success to someone who give him inspiration!
Meanwhile, “Inang, I’m heading to Yana’s place, please send me gifts for her tomorrow.” he called his nanny who happily replied immediately.
It’s been two months that he had no news about his heroine. He’s so busy this days for many business deals. He personally took care for big projects to ensure it’s success. He worked hard for their company that sometimes he has no time for himself. He tried to call Yllana but he lost her contacts. He saved it correctly but he don’t know why it is erased.
“Sir, we’re here!” Oliver’s personal driver announced. He blows the horn but no one answered.
“Go, have a doorbell.” Oliver instructed him
“But, sir..it seems that the place is so peaceful. No one is here.” the driver said
“Oh no!, where are you Yllana?!”, Oliver misses her so much!..He is ready now to tell her everything!..
“Go, drive to the hospital where she worked.” he said to the driver.
The driver drove him to the hospital with a 45-minute drive. When they arrived, Oliver didn’t wait for his driver to ask Yllana at the information but he do it personally with excitement.
“Good morning, Miss, is Yllana here?!” Oliver asks immediately to the nurse in the information desk.
“ Good morning too sir!..who are they by the way?,” the nurse ask him back for his identity.
“Oliver, I’m Oliver, Yana’s friend.” I have something important to tell her, Oliver explained.
“ Okay sir i will check her shift today.” A nurse then scan her record a little while..she look at him and smile..but, We’re sorry sir, Yllana took a 3-day leave today.” the nurse informed him.
“What?!, uhm, do you have any idea where she goes, Miss?” Can you contact her, please..!” Oliver insisted
“I’m sorry sir, but her line is out of reach..what we only knew that they have family gatherings recently but we have no idea where.” the nurse added
Oliver’s excitement collapsed. “Its been a short time that he and Yana knew each other. He has no idea about her family either. What will he do now?!
“ Inang, do you have any news about Yllana’s family?!”..Oliver asked his nanny for help.
“I’m sorry Oliv, it’s just now that I have been encountered her family. I don’t know their whereabouts either.” Inang Lena stated.
“Okay, Inang, thank you..We will asked their neighbors or she might have friends here.
“Okay, Oliv, just inform me if you find her..the gifts are ready..” Lena said
“Sure, Inang..bye!”
Oliver and his driver go back to Yana’s neighborhood and asks the details about Yllana and her family activities but no one knew the complete details and location of their gatherings.
“I heard that Yana’s cousin tied the knot today at the other city but I don’t know where it exactly.” Yana’s neighbor stated.
“Okay, thank you, Miss” Oliver thanks her.
They roam around for a while to look for any information about Yana today but, unfortunately, nothing happen to their trip. He consumed the whole day asking but they didn’t get exact information. Oliver never surrendered, he didn’t stop until his secretary called her for the banquets details.
He hurriedly to go back to the city for the meantime and will come back the other day to see her. He is so sad that he can’t celebrate with her in his success!..
“ Let’s go back home, Anton.” We will comeback here the other days when she’s here.” Oliver said hopelessly.
The driver nod him and drive going back home.
“Wait, just stop right there Anton, he told his driver.”
The car stopped at the entrance of the mall and Oliver go out. He saw an island mall and thinking to buy something. When he stay here, Yana, always bought him his favorite food. He wanted to buy for his cravings and take out for his friends and family.
After a while, Oliver get in the car and headed back home.
Two days after Oliver arrived, all of the employees are busy for the preparation of the said banquets. Everyone joins for the celebration of their company’s success!..
“Atasha, is everything ready for tonight?” Oliver asks his secretary to check personally.
“Yes, sir!,,everything is set!” his secretary replied from the intercom.
“Okay, tell the visitors that we will start in a minute”, Oliver instructed
Oliver is ready tonight for the big company’s event. The party started, the music in the dance floor is getting alive and the prestigious guests are settling their assigned tables.
“Good evening, everyone! I am thrilled to see all of you here tonight as we celebrate a significant milestone for our company. I am pleased to announce that we have successfully closed the deals with our business partners for our new project on the beautiful island.
Mr. Robertson of Eagles Diamond Corp cheers!..”That's fantastic news, Oliver!..I must say, your negotiation skills are truly impressive. I have no doubt that this project will be a great success.”
“Thank you for your kind words, Danny.” Danny Robertson is the CEO of Eagles Diamond Corp.
“It was a team effort, and I am grateful for the support of each and every one of you. To mark this occasion, I have arranged a banquet for us to enjoy and toast to our future collaboration.” Oliver added.
“Cheers to that, Oliver! I am excited to see what the future holds for our partnership. Let's raise our glasses to the signing of the contracts and the beginning of a prosperous venture on the island”, Josh Slater from Slater Corp toasts!
“Here's to new beginnings, shared success, and endless possibilities. Thank you all for your trust and commitment. Let's make this project a remarkable journey together. Oliver happily raise his glass and cheers to their company partners, the company and to everyone!
The nights ended with full of celebrations and hope for the new ventures.
The project started as soon as possible. Everyone is so excited for its 100% accomplishments!..the locals will benefitted to it because it is a real state project that is very elegant scenic location. Aside from that, there is a side housing project for the locals. Oliver had close supervision to it every now and then to ensure it’s quality and productivity.
He’s so busy for months closing the deals and building projects. He buried himself to work to avoid his ex-wife and his parents arguments about his marriage but he always dream about Yllana. He missed her so much!..
“Oliver please!” Sofia pleaded.
“I’m so sorry Sofia! Everything is ruined.” You’re free now!
“No! Oliv!”
“Bye Sofie!” Oliver cut the line.
This recent days, He wonders why Sofia is eagerly asked him to reunite him. Something’s wrong! But, he decide to continue their divorce agreement.
“Kring!..Kring!..Kring!.” Oliver’s phone rang again, he ignored it but it continues ringing. He is irritated of the thoughts that Sofia still insisting and calling!..
He answered once more..”Sof..
..Hello sir!, It’s emergency, this is Liam, something happens to our recent sites at the island..despite of the strict safety protocols we have accidents in the high excavation road site. the other line give the details.
“What?!” Oliver is surprised of the incident.
“Call the rescue team immediately!..” he instructed for some immediate actions before cutting the line.
He called for Sam. “Sam, help me” he explained what happened.
Sam accompanied Oliver right away..They go together at the site.
“Sir, the heavy rain continues. The rescue team stopped searching the victims and will continue tomorrow.” Liam informed Oliver.
“What?!..but, what happen to the victims if they don’t rescue them tonight?!
“But, sir..it’s dangerous to do search and rescue in the middle of the night with heavy rainfalls”.
“Okay, i will go there to help the victims alone, it can’t be rescued late..the victims needs for immediate rescues!” He helplessly sated.
“Oliv, calm down!” Sam comforted him
“No, Sam!, they will lost their lives if we couldn’t do for them now!” he exclaimed
“Let’s wait the weather to calm before we let again the rescuers to continue. We will also responsible for them if something worst happen!” Sam, explained.
