It’s been late after the incidents of reuniting her old friends, Carla is walking along the quiet shoreline to breathe fresh air. She needs to relax for a while, her footsteps leaving faint impressions on the damp sand. The moon was beginning to shine so bright, casting a warm golden glow over the water. She’s in deep thought when suddenly, her gaze caught something glinting near the tide line. Curiously, she approached and bent down to pick it up—a delicate gold necklace with a familiar-looking locket.
Her heart stopped for a moment. She stared in disbelief at the locket, her eyes narrowing as memories flooded back. It was an exact replica of the one her son had always worn—the same intricate design, the tiny hinge, the worn luster from years of wear.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. Turning around, she saw a young man—Oliver—walking toward her with a gentle smile. He was a kind-faced person, the kind she'd seen in photographs, but today, he looked different as he paused, noticing her stare.
In that instant, Carla's mind raced. How could this boy be holding her son's lost relic? Was this perhaps her child's? Her breath hitched as she looked into Oliver's eyes—innocent, trusting, unaware of what his possession truly meant.
She hesitated, struggling with a whirlwind of emotions—hope, grief, confusion, and a deep, aching longing. Her voice trembled as she softly asked, "Where did you find this?"
Oliver looked puzzled. "Oh, I just found it lying in the sand after the tide went out. It’s beautiful... I’ve always loved necklaces like this. My grandmother told me it was a special gift from her mother, Lola."
Carla’s eyes widened, and for a moment, she couldn’t speak. The pieces started fitting together—the necklace, the age of the boy, the story from his family. Could it really be? Could this be her lost son, now grown, carrying her family’s history close to his heart all these years?
Tears welled up as she gently reached out, clutching the locket in her trembling hand. Her voice, barely above a whisper, choked with emotion. "This... is it possible? Could this belong to my son?"
Oliver looked at her, concern flickering across his face. "Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?"
Carla managed a soft smile through her tears. "No, no. It’s just... This locket—it’s looks alike to someone. I just remembered someone, a very close cousin. I never thought I’d see it again. I lost my pair, i thought it’s the one but it’s different. I’m sorry for making you worried. Here.” She denied. Carla give the necklace to Oliver.
“ Okay, thank you!” He agree even he wondered to her reaction about the necklace.
“ Well, i’ll go to our room now.” Carla said.
“Kringgg! Kringgg! Kringg!!
“ Yes, Atasha, what’s new?” He asked to her secretary in the other line.
“Sir, i had a good news about the case you handled this days.” The detailed report is in your table now.
“ Alright, please secure it.” I’ll be the one to open the files. I will be back tomorrow morning.
“Copy sir.” Atasha answered.

In the veranda, “What happened, honey? Why are you sad since last night? We can be reunited again and have another picnics next time.” Ben comforted his wife.
“No, it’s not like that Ben, something bothered me last night.” Carla confessed what she saw last night and their encounter of Oliver.
“What?! Why didn’t you tell me?! Ben was surprised
“Because i was shocked and not sure about things yet. You’re sleeping already when I entered our room. “ Carla explained.
“Ben, let’s go to the hospital in the city first. Let’s have a paternal test. Here, i have hair of Oliver. He didn’t notice i pulled some of his hair strand.”
“But, it’s expensive, Honey!” Ben added.
“.Lets find ways” Carla suggested.
“Okay, i will borrow from my relatives and friends and we will travel tomorrow. Maybe he answered our prayers now, we have the lead” Carla cried again.
“Oh common, don’t cry, we’re almost getting back our son now. We will pray that he is the one.” Ben said.
“At long last we have news about him. Olive is a responsible man. He always do his promise to our Yana. How about. Yana? Carla worriedly said.
“Let’s confirm first before we find right timing to tell her.”
In the afternoon, Carla and Ben travel to the city to have paternity test to confirm the truth. After knowing the result, they will find out how that happen and why a person did it to them.
