THIRD PERSON POV Ravenna woke up to the sound of voices drifting faintly through the open window. They were light and careless laughter threading through them like ribbons. For a moment, she lay still, confused by the brightness of the light slanting into the room. It was later than she usually woke up... much later. Her body felt heavy, as if the night had pressed her down into the mattress. She blinked and pushed herself upright, her mind sluggish at first… until memory snapped her awake.
