Meeting It..

So many thoughts came racing through my mind that I hadn't realized when I had arrived. The hot springs usually take about an hour to get to, and it seems as if I made it here in 10 minutes. I watched as the moon reflected on the springs and wondered how I could have missed all the signs. I'm also not sure how to process all these things and to be frank, I was not sure what was worse, me having an inner dragon, my parents being king and queen, or them lying to me for all these years. As I sat in my car staring at the springs for what seemed to be an eternity, I became aware of the fact that I was not alone. I noticed a dark figure lurking around slowly, the more I focused my attention on it, the more it evaded me. Whatever it was, it became aware of my presence and I of its. In these satiations, a normal human would stay in their car and leave. Not me, I could not be normal even if my life depended on it. So, what did I do? I slowly got out of my car and began to walk towards it and once I did, it growled at me. It was more of a warning to stay away from it, but something in me told me to keep getting closer. That is when I heard it speak, it was a deep husky voice, almost as if whoever it was, was fighting itself from speaking to me. But I heard it, "stay away from us unless you're ready for us mate." I stopped moving but like always, my mouth does not seem to know when to shut itself, I held my ground and replied, "I'm not afraid of you and I'll have you know I don't take kindly to anyone telling me what do to. Now show yourself if you don't want me to scream" I thought whatever it was took the hint and left, but all it did was stay quiet for a bit, and then it gave me a menacing chuckle and spoke, "Oh, little one, you have no idea the things I can and WILL make you do. Go ahead and scream, you of all people should know that there will be no one around for many miles to come. That is why you come here, to be alone and away from the world. Scream as loud as you can, we both know that no one will hear it." I could not see it, but I heard it turn as if it were getting ready to leave. "Who are you?" I just could not let it leave, could I? I was curious but also mentally slapping myself for even asking it that, why did I have to ask it anything. Why couldn't my stubborn ass let it leave? The anticipation was killing me, I was trying so hard to see what it was, I forgot the hot springs were covered with random mudholes, as I moved closer, I lost my footing and slipped down into one of the springs. This was it; this is how I died, sliding down into a hot spring filled with sharp stones because my dumbass had to see who the mystery person was. What a fantastic way to die, but the rocks never came, and as I opened my eyes, I realized I was being lifted higher and higher into the night sky. I looked up and glanced at whatever it was that was carrying me into the night sky, I was dumbfounded when I looked at it and the next thing, I knew everything went dark. Why me? Ugh, sunlight, my least favorite part of the day. Wait a minute, it's daytime? This can only mean...I clenched onto the sheets I had draped over me as if my life depended on it. I was wearing someone else's clothing and I hadn't been the one to undress myself, that much I knew. I took a look around to see if I could find a way to escape, but I was too distracted by that amazing scent of cedarwood and pine, it was familiar, it gave me a feeling of being safe, I had smelt that before, but where? The room I was in was beautiful, the walls were a shade of midnight blue that made them almost look black. The floor was a glass-like marble with random gold specks, I've never seen anything like it before. In a corner of the room was a small gold-colored lounge chair with a small Mahagony side table, on it a reading lamp and some books stacked one unstop of the other, I wonder what they like to read it? I kept scanning the room and to the opposite side of the lounge chair was another stunning Mahagony piece, it was a dresser, but what made it more appealing was the intricate amount of carved details it had all over. The bed I was laying in matched the dresser perfectly. The sheets were black silk, and the mattress was like a cloud. There were two doors, one which was slightly opened and it looks like it leads to a massive closet and the other must be the bathroom. And as if on cue, the bathroom door opened up, and to say I was surprised is the understatement of the year when I saw who came out of the bathroom.
