Life with four babies at home is... Well, it’s been interesting. Definitely something that took a while to get used to.
The first weeks after the babies were born, when they were still in the hospital, it sometimes felt like we’d never be able to take them home. They were so tiny and had such a long way to go, at times, it felt endless. When I was sitting with them, in the middle of the night, giving them their night feeding, it sometimes felt like this would never end, that we’d always be here.
Once they only had the feeding tubes left, it got a lot better, but it still often made taking care of them feel so ‘medical’.
