As Max is showing pictures of the plot of land we’re about to buy, my head is starting to hurt more and more.
I slowly reach up, rubbing my eyes, hoping it will make the pain go away.
“Do you need something against the pain?” Max’ voice is quiet, careful, and I shake my head.
“I just need to... I just need to close my eyes for a while.”
The pain is almost gone most of the time, but I can’t focus my eyes on anything for very long. When I try to concentrate on looking at something for any amount of time, my eyes start to irritate and my head starts to hurt.
It’s really annoying because it means I can’t read or watch anything. And to be fair, not being able to do either of those things is starting to bother me. I’m glad that the headache is mostly gone, but it also means that I
