It’s noon, and we’ve been up since... Ehhh... Since two last night. Since Cyra felt the babies move.
I didn’t know I’d feel this excited when she would feel them move for the first time, but it has made things a little more real and serious.
It also somehow brought a new urgency to everything, this feeling like we’ve been stuck in a rut for a long time and need to start moving again. We’ve all been pretty down since the attack and with everyone needing to heal and other things in our lives going way slower than we’d wished they’d go, we got somehow stuck, mentally.
But last night has gotten all of us active and much more upbeat again. Even Spence, who attempted to sleep for about three minutes, before he joined in
