During the meeting with the royal generals, I couldn’t take my eyes off of Mal. If I wasn’t in love with her before, I am now. She handled the generals like a leader should. Arty pushed for control when Walter suggested that Mal go hide in a bunker. Anyone who knows her knows that she will not do that in a million years. She is the type of wolf that will fight until her last breath rather than hide away as others fight for her. Arty stepped back in my mind and watched as our mate put Walter in his place while calling him out at the same time. I have heard that George had been the same way when they first met Mal and Hannah, but they learned that she is not a pushover.
