A Vampire's Mate

Chapter 15

 Damien loved bothering Angel, but she knew he was only kidding, we left to the tall grass meadows. She told me she wanted to fly before she couldn’t fly anymore after the next couple of weeks. Angel thought she was dying, and I was trying to find ways to save her life. I didn’t want to worry Angel about us preparing for battle with the Archangels and vampire’s others that join to stop the prophecy from happening. They didn’t wish to change. We are preparing for a fight, win or lose; we all want to live free and won’t want to hide anymore because of what we are. Angel and my child are our only hope. Something is missing in the prophecy pages. We are all trying to find out what’s coming next.

Draco, we have many warriors here to protect Haven, but we don’t know the others’ numbers. It is going to be a hard battle. I am a little sure we will win because we have witches putting spells of protection on us when we fight. Ji-hoon has been keeping Angel safe and without her knowing what’s going on. We also had mermaids that change into human form but very strong and had sharp teeth that can rip your skin off. The Trolls are very big and robust, and look like towers compare to my size.  The Elves here helped the witches gather their potions. Elves are magical creatures; they can use magic to knock you out.

 The Centaurs were strong and knew how to fight with swords in a battle. Everyone here had a way to help defeat our enemy. We had Anna and Willow occupied Angel while we had our meetings; I didn’t want her to know anything to upset her. Storm got up and said, “ Angel has great power; we can't use her to help us because we all have to protect her and the baby. They are our only hope; I know we all waited thousands of years for this day to come. I and the other fairies are working with the witches to help Angel live. Ji-hoon I don’t know if Draco has told you, my boy, you have a great part of this prophecy, and you are also important to us all!” Draco, “ Angel will go into labor next month on a night when the red moon is full, they will attack us then. So I was thinking, let us attack them first before the red moon rises.” They all agreed to this plan.
