A Vampire's Mate

Chapter 10

Gabriel, “ Well, I see you have returned, but wait before you enter; you have changed. Why do I smell some of the demon blood in you?”  Angel,” One of the vampires bit me and gave me his blood because I was dying.” Gabriel,” Are you kidding me right now? You let a vampire give you his blood! We are already immortals, and now you are telling me you have some demons blood in you. Angel, do you know what this means, and you now have more power to control all of them and destroy them all forever.” Gabriel started to laugh so loud and disturbing that all the angels just began to stare if his laughter was a good laugh or a bad one. “ HAHAHA, good work, little one. I didn’t know you would bring me more joy. Now, do you know where the elder’s cave is? Give Jasper the directions, and Now Angel, I want you to wash up and change into your warrior clothes. You smell like those demons, freshen up and join us  tonight; we will hunt them all down.” Gabriel, “ Now we will have the prophecy Book, and we will rule all creatures. Angel doesn’t know how important she is to us. Once we have the book and I make her as my Queen, we will have the power to rule the world and wipe out all creatures and useless humans. HAHAHAHA”

Angel, “ I rushed into my room and started panicking. I don’t want to hurt Draco, Anna, Damien, and Ji-Hoon. They were never a threat to me. What should I do? I need to warn them to get away before the attack tonight. I have to find them now.” I have to find the map to the place another fellow friend told me to go when I was tired of being a warrior—a place called Haven, where all supernaturals can live without rules, just peace. I got dressed, grabbed my spear, and exited towards the back, so no one saw me leave. My friend Jackie grabs my arm,” where the hell are you going Gabriel is going to be mad if you leave without him knowing.” Angel, Jackie, I have to warn my friends, please don’t say you saw me! Thank you so much!” I gave my friend a big hug and left the castle-like, a brick building. I had to run down to the road, past the river far away from the building, so no one saw me take my flight up to the village nearby and try to find them before it got dark. I ran fast through the forest towards the road ahead, ran up to see a small town ahead. The people in this little town were human, but very loyal and never gave me the expression that they will harm me. Some people saw me but they knew me and waved hello, I kept running because the faster I got to Ji-hoon and his family the better. Some of my warriors might be looking for me so I have to act quickly. One warrior flew down right in front of me, I yelled back to the people to take cover. He took out his sword and I took my spear, he threw his sword aiming my chest I blocked it. Then he kicked me to the ground, I flew right back up with a swift kick to his chest, then I took my chance and jumped in the air and chopped his head clean off. His body then dropped down, I was taught from the best and this stupid fool thought he only himself can take me down. I left his body there and started walking past a couple of more houses until I sensed someone familiar coming fast behind me; I spiraled around with my spear drawn out and came face to face with Ji-Hoon. I was surprised to see him here, but the look he gave me said it all. He hated me, and he was angry that I lied to him. I felt pain in my heart that I never felt before; I deeply have fallen in love with him. Even though we are different, I still had this strange connection with him, and now I know he was my real mate.
