Chapter 17

Zac was a strong warrior. He was one warrior that has protected the Elders for a hundred thousand years. But he got tired of all the innocent people that had to die because of the rules. The Elders had his wife and unborn child killed. His wife was a witch, they loved each other, but it was against our rules to mate with others outside of our kind. He had to be strong and not show them his weakness. But he can not forget what they have done to his family; he wanted revenge for them.

We planned to set out at dawn to approach them in their castle. I left Angel in care of the others and Anna to watch over her; I didn't want her to know what we are up to. Angel is now delicate because the birth of our child is close. I left with Draco, Zac, and Damien, also the other strong warriors, with us. Some witches came with us to block anything they send our way. The fairies and witches, werewolves protected Angel at Haven. I kissed my beauty and told her I will be back soon; she kept on asking why I have to leave and why so many are going with me?  I told her, don’t worry so much; I kissed her stomach and told her my beauty. I loved her!  She tried to fly, but she couldn’t because Angel is close to giving birth. I knew she was worried about me, but I made sure Anna was there for her! Anna, “ Don’t worry, Ji-Hoon, I will guard her with my life!” I nodded at Anna and headed with the others to the boats that will take us back to Rome. The mermaids pushed the boats underwater, so it didn’t make noise when we approached Rome. It took over three days to arrive over there and I was hoping we could catch them when they least expected us to come. When we were getting near, some fairies flew high up in the clouds to attack the air.

Once we got there, our battle for our lives started, they knew we were coming and we hadn't any chance to prepare ourselves quicker, many of us were wounded.

Damien dropped near me wounded by one of the rogues; I turned around fast to block before the Archangel put a spear in my chest. I spiraled around and cut his head off, his blood splattered all over my face. f**k now my bloodlust is heating up and I need more. Draco, yelled at me from across “STOP IT JI-HOON FIGHT IT THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO THIRST FOR BLOOD WE AT WAR BOY!” Dammit, he is right, then a crazy looking thing rose up from the ground like seven feet tall with horns and a long tail. Oh s**t, I cut this sucker in half to bring this one down. He stomped forward and took a swing at me, cut my arm with his black nails and we kept on fighting until I saw him getting tired and slid my sword across his slimy waist until his top half dropped to the ground. Then Gabriel shot down from the sky and grabbed me and knocked me out. I woke up hours later in a chamber with some warriors. I got up to check on the injured until Gabriel entered the Chamber. Gabriel, “ Well, Well, Hello Ji-Hoon Angel’s baby daddy, now that I have you, I know Angel will come to be willing for you, and if she doesn’t, I will kill you then.” Ji-Hoon, I will never let her come, then kill me, you never get her! Gabriel, “ How Angel fell for a meaningless creature like you; instead, she could be powerful by my side. Angel picked the wrong breed to mingle with, and now she has to die to save you. HaHaha''

Ji-Hoon, you can laugh all you want. We love each other, and you can never have what we have ever. Angel is more powerful without you by her side. Gabriel, HAHAHAHAHA you fool she is never more powerful than me. Let's leave and wait until we get word to attack Haven by dawn. Bye, Ji-Hoon I will be seeing Angel soon and Oh I tell her you said Hi hahahahahaha!”  I tried to grab him before he left the chamber, but his soldier next to him knocked me to the wall with his spear. I had a significant s***h on my right side; I held on to it to heal fast. f**k, my beauty needs me, I hope the rest get back soon to warn the others of the attack. The witch next to me said, “ Don't worry I have already sent a message to Storm, she will know what to do!” Thank You, but I know when the others arrive back at Haven she will be upset I have not returned with them. She will come to fight and I can not let her get hurt because of me! I slouched down and put my head in my hands and was getting frustrated that things keep happening to us like this! WHY!!
