The dishes and available seating at Epicurean Haven Restaurant were limited each day, with only ten tables available. It was a rare opportunity for ordinary people to dine there.
"Mr. Taylor, Mrs. Taylor, what would you like to eat today?" The restaurant manager personally came out to serve them.
Benjamin remained expressionless and poured a cup of coffee for Sophia before asking the manager, "Do you have any recommendations?"
"We just received some fresh fish caught from the sea. Both steamed and sashimi are delicious," the manager replied.
Benjamin glanced at Sophia, who was sitting beside him lost in thought.
He reached out and held Sophia's hand resting on the table, asking for her opinion, "Is that okay?"
Sophia snapped back to reality as soon as he touched her.
