Upon seeing Benjamin, Harper immediately felt a sense of security. No longer did she fear Sophia's threats, and she even mustered tears as part of her act.
"Benjamin, help. Sophia wants to s***h my face!"
As soon as Harper cried out, Sophia felt a buzzing in her ears and the dizziness intensified.
She gripped the teacup shards tightly, shaking her head to maintain consciousness.
"Hold on, Sophia, you can't collapse now!" She reminded herself.
Hearing Harper's plea, Benjamin walked leisurely to the living room and took a seat on the sofa, watching the drama unfold.
He noticed the blood faintly seeping out of Sophia's fingers holding the shards of the teacup.
Harper's face was as pretty as ever, so the blood could only have come from Sophia's palm.
