As Daniel entered the meeting room with his phone in hand, Benjamin was in the midst of a heated negotiation with foreign operators. The atmosphere was tense, indicating a standoff in progress.
"Mr. Taylor," Daniel handed the phone to Benjamin, whispering so that only the two of them could hear, "It's Grace. She says Mrs. Taylor is at the Marine Paradise Club and she's not in a good state."
Benjamin frowned slightly, took the phone, and stepped out to take the call.
"What's the matter?"
Grace relayed what she had seen, "I don't know what happened to Mrs. Taylor, but she's quite down. She arrived asking to see Lucas and even asked us to send whiskey in."
A storm seemed to gather between Benjamin's brows, his displeasure bubbling beneath the surface.
