Sophia looked at Benjamin curiously as he sat on the edge of the bed.
His recent behavior had left her puzzled.
If he didn't want a divorce because of Mabel, then why did he sleep with her last night?
Benjamin pressed his thin lips together, maintaining his usual calm and composed expression.
"Last night, it was you who initiated it," he explained calmly. "As your husband, it is my duty to fulfill your needs."
Sophia scoffed coldly, not believing his words for a second.
They hadn't even had s*x on their wedding night, okay?
Benjamin noticed Sophia's disdainful expression, but he didn't pay much attention to it. He continued in a calm and gentle tone, "In the past, I neglected my duties as a husband and failed to meet your needs. But that won't happen again."
