Sophia scoffed with disdain, "Is it necessary?"
Leaning back on the passenger seat, she crossed her arms arrogantly, "If you want to explain your relationship with Harper, I'm not interested..."
"I'm not here to explain," Benjamin said, his voice low and cold.
"Harper and I used to be in a romantic relationship, but that was a long time ago."
Sophia shot a glance at Benjamin, the emotions in her eyes shifting subtly.
Well, he was at least honest.
"So what is it you want to talk about?"
Benjamin lifted his chin slightly, his jawline prominent, "To avoid unnecessary trouble, let's keep my relationship with Harper from others, especially your father."
Sophia instantly understood Benjamin's intent.
