I had totally forgotten that tonight was the night of the crescent blood moon, an occurrence that only happened once in every five years. It wasn't something I could ever miss and immediately I had gotten a call and a reminder from Maximus, I left the Island and we took the jet back to the Palace.
As soon as we touched down on the top of the Palace, I had one of the guards take Iris back to her room before I went to get ready for the Crescent blood moon rituals. This ritual was very much important and no one dared to miss it.
