DAMON'S POV The drive to my aunt's place is torturous and dare I say long, but I would do it over again in a heartbeat. The lush trees that rushed by and the evergreen scenery always got to me. I didn't think that was the only thing I loved about the journey. It was the darkness that seemed to lurk deeper in the forest, behind the facade of the gentility the green woods seem to portray.
