Accompanied by Kayla White, Elijah Sterling walked into the conference room at Phenomax, where Rosa was waiting.
"Have you thought it through?"
Elijah asked, looking down at Rosa with a sense of superiority.
'After being turned down by the Sterling Group, Rosa contacted me in less than a day. She must have weighed the pros and cons and finally decided to give in,' he thought
"I've thought it through," Rosa replied immediately. "Elijah, this is the last time I'll discuss Samuel's matter with you."
Rosa began, "First, Samuel has found important leads in just a few days since joining Phenomax. He's highly capable, and I won't fire him. Second, I'll agree to your second condition, but I won't share our core technology with you. Lastly, if you don't agree, we'll terminate the partnership."
