CHAPTER 3: THE DESK

430 Words
The transition from gentle comfort to consuming, frantic need happened with a sudden, rough urgency that caught them both off guard. David didn't want to just comfort her anymore; he wanted to possess her, to tear 4through the domestic haze that kept them emotionally and physically isolated during the long day. He stood up abruptly, pulling Elena up with him, his mouth slamming down onto hers before she could even find her footing on the carpet. Elena let out a sharp gasp against his lips, but her arms wrapped instantly around his neck, pulling him closer as if she were drowning. The kiss was messy, wet, and full of teeth, a raw, unbridled release of all the built-up tension, resentment, and desire they had carried all week. David’s hands gripped her hips tightly, lifting her slightly so, she was pressed hard against his rigid erection, which was already straining painfully against the heavy denim zipper of his jeans. He backed her up against his heavy, solid oak home, office desk, his arm sweeping a stack of unpaid bills, architectural sketches, and a stray plastic toy car onto the carpet with a loud, echoing clatter. Elena didn't care about the mess or the paperwork. She wrapped her legs around his waist, her inner thighs gripping his hips tightly as he buried his face in the crook of her neck, biting gently at the sensitive skin right where her shoulder met her throat. "David, the kids... they could wake up," she gasped out, her voice trembling, though her hands were already tearing frantically at his leather belt, her fingers clumsy with desperation. "They're sound asleep," he growled against her hot skin, his hands sliding down to grip the hem of her sweatpants and panties, pulling them down her legs in one rough, impatient motion. He left them tangled around her ankles, focusing entirely on the wet, swollen heat blooming between her thighs. She was already dripping, her body fully primed for him despite the exhaustion of the day. He stroked her center with a heavy, deliberate thumb, making her arch her back and cry out softly into the quiet room. David’s breath was ragged as he looked at her pinned against the desk. The contrast between the cold, polished wood and the scorching heat of her skin was making his head spin. He needed to be inside her, to anchor himself to something real in a world that felt increasingly artificial and demanding. He held her hips steady, his knuckles white against her skin, preparing to shatter the remaining distance between them.
