Skye: "A curse?" I raised an eyebrow, the word sounding almost ridiculous as it left my mouth. The witch nodded, a faint, tired smile tugging at the corners of her lips. “Yes, a curse. Surprised?" She teased, as if she knew just how absurd it all sounded. "Well, you might want to sit back and relax for this one. But first, help me up, would you? I’d rather not tell this story from the floor, and I think a cup of tea is in order.” I hesitated for a moment, but then I reached out, offering her my hand.
