BLUEVARD LTD Arthur did not look back when he left Zina’s office. He walked down the hallway like nothing had happened, like he hadn’t just crossed a line that could never be uncrossed. His expression was blank, but his mind was not. He hated that part the most. The way control slipped, even for seconds. By the time he reached the main floor, he had already decided what to do. Stella was at her desk, typing quickly, eyes focused, posture straight. She looked… untouched by chaos. That irritated him more than it should have. “Stella.” She looked up immediately. “Yes, sir?” He placed a thick folder in front of her. “I need these reviewed and summarized. Highlight only what matters. No opinions.” She blinked. “By when?” “Today.” Her fingers hesitated. “It’s already past four.” “I know.” “Alright.”she said under her breath Arthur turned to leave, then stopped. “You can close early once you’re done.” That made her look up again, confusion all over her face .Stella finished the work with aching shoulders and a mind too loud for her liking. The office emptied around her until it was just the hum of lights and the quiet thud of her own thoughts. She emailed the file and packed up. When she stepped outside, the sky was already dark. STELLA “She’s missing,” my dad said again, his voice hoarse now. I stood frozen as he lifted his hands, power radiating from him like heat. The walls trembled slightly, the air bending as he searched, far beyond this house, beyond this world. I felt it pulling at everything, stretching across realms, across existence itself. His hands dropped slowly. “She’s nowhere,” he whispered. “Not in this universe, not in any.” My heart slammed against my ribs. That wasn’t possible.I turned and ran. Savire’s room was down the east hall. I pushed the door open, breath caught in my throat. The bed was untouched. No books,no trace of him. Like he’d been erased. “No,” I breathed. “No, no, no…” I rushed back downstairs, my pulse roaring in my ears, and stopped right in front of James. “Savire is missing too,” I said. “Something is definitely wrong.” James said nothing. He stood there, arms crossed, face unreadable. “And why have you been quiet this whole time?” I demanded, anger bubbling up through the fear. “James?” His jaw tightened slightly. “Some things,” he said slowly, “don’t disappear. They’re hidden.” My shoulders dropped. ARTHUR The club was loud enough to drown thought.I can't believe I kissed Zina,I wonder what would be going through her head now.Music pulsed through my chest as I leaned back, drink in hand, surrounded by laughter and familiar faces. This was easy. This was normal. “So,” Stiles grinned, nudging me. “Zina.” I exhaled, amused. “I’m not in love.” He burst out laughing. “How can a playboy like you be in love?” he teased me. I smirked. “I’m not a …..hmm.” I shook my head. “I’m just attracted. That’s all.” “Yeah,” he smiled with his teeth. “That’s how it always starts.” I stood, stretching. “Be right back, man.” The hallway to the VIP restroom was almost empty, the noise fading behind me. The lights flickered once overhead.I stopped. Then I told myself not to be stupid.I stepped inside. The mirror caught my reflection, but I swear I saw an old woman.Something wasn't right.I adjusted my jacket, turned toward the stall…. The lights went out.The door slammed shut behind me. “Arthur.” I stayed silent “Arthur Salvatore!!!!!” Mr.OWEN I don’t trust silence. Not in a house like mine. Not when power hums through the walls and something precious has gone missing.I head straight for the surveillance room. The screens flicker to life one after another, staircases, entrances, corners of the house that have seen generations of secrets. My hands curl into fists as I fast-forward, rewinding, watching every frame with the sharp focus of a man already afraid of what he’ll find. I see her,my wife. She moves through the west corridor,Savire walks beside her, his head slightly bowed, his body tense like he knows he shouldn’t be there but has no choice. “What are you doing?” I mutter under my breath. They reach the restricted wing. The cameras glitch. Just for half a second. When the feed clears, she’s gone,Savire is gone. My breath stutters. I rewind, again, slower this time. The same thing happens. My pulse pounds in my ears as I switch to another camera.I watched my wife disappear with Savire,I kept watching, then I saw James. My brow raised, does he know something…could that be why he's been quiet the whole time,I asked myself. He walks into frame alone, posture relaxed, hands in his pockets like he’s taking a midnight stroll. He pauses, tilts his head slightly, as if listening to something only he can hear. Then,he vanishes. Not like the others. The air folds around him. Shadows stretch unnaturally, swallowing his form whole. I slam my hand against the desk. My heart is already sinking when the feed switches again. The lobby camera. James reappears.Blood stains his shirt, dark, fresh, splattered across his chest like paint thrown in rage. His claws are out, long and lethal, catching the light as he flexes his fingers slowly. He stands there alone.Breathing steady. I wait.Seconds stretch into minutes. No one else appears. Not my wife? Not Savire? Only James? Something inside me snaps. I stormed to his room,my eyes turned red as I saw him standing peacefully by the window. The sound of my fist slamming James against the wall of his bedroom so hard the stone cracks. My hand closes around his throat, lifting him effortlessly. “Where is my wife?” I roar. The room trembles power. Books crash from shelves. The windows rattle violently. James didn't struggle. He just looks at me,blank. “I asked you a question,” I growl, slamming him again, harder this time. The wall caves in slightly. “Where is she?” His claws came out slowly. “We'll have a better conversation when I'm not angry, you might not get the chance,if you keep this up” “Or what, you'll kill me,like you did your parents” “So,you knew too,you guys have been lying to me”he said calmly That calm ignites something feral in me. I throw him across the room. He crashes into the dresser, wood splintering on impact. He rolls once and is on his feet immediately, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth now,but he’s smiling. “You should let go of me,” James says quietly. I charged.power slamming into power, the air exploding outward. He catches my wrist, twists, and for a split second I feel it: restraint, control. Like he’s holding back. That realization terrifies me. I strike again, landing a blow to his jaw. He staggers but doesn’t fall. “Don’t make me your enemy,” he snarled His eyes gold flickering beneath the dark. “I didn’t start this,” he says. “But I will finish it if you force me.” I grab him again, lifting him off the ground. “You bled in my house,” I hissed. “You disappeared when my wife vanished and you expect me to believe you’re innocent?” Silence. Then James speaks, voice low. “She’s alive……maybe” My grip tightens.
