Cold Open
The camera pans over the familiar, fog-covered streets of Black Hollow at twilight. There’s a sense of foreboding in the air, and every building seems to loom taller, more menacing than before. The wind whispers through the trees, carrying with it a sound that almost resembles a chant.
We zoom in on Lily, walking alone through the streets. Her eyes are distant, as though she’s searching for something—or trying to avoid it. Her fingers graze the pages of Eleanor’s journal, which she keeps hidden beneath her jacket, but something is wrong. The pages have started to bleed, the ink smudging as though the words themselves are alive, shifting.
A low, guttural growl emanates from the shadows. Lily freezes. The faintest trace of a figure is visible, just out of sight. The wind howls again, and when Lily looks back, the figure is gone.
She shakes her head, trying to dismiss it, but a chill settles deep in her bones. The Hollow is watching her, and it’s getting stronger.

Act I: The Unraveling
The town’s condition worsens. The disappearances continue, but now, the very fabric of reality in Black Hollow seems to be unraveling. People report seeing shadows moving in their peripheral vision, voices echoing in the distance, and strange, distorted glimpses of people who shouldn’t be there—figures that look like friends and family but are somehow… wrong.
Lily feels the weight of the Hollow pressing down on her. Her connection to it deepens, and she finds herself drawn to the Thorne Estate even more, though she can’t fully explain why. The roots of the Hollow have taken root inside her—slowly twisting and warping her thoughts, pulling her toward the very center of its power.
Isa, who has now become more involved in the investigation, begins to experience her own unsettling phenomena. Strange flashes of visions invade her mind—snippets of people she thought she knew, but with faces that aren’t quite right. And the worst part: she starts forgetting things. Small things at first. A conversation here, a face there. But the feeling of being erased is suffocating.
Isa is losing herself.

Act II: The Veil Between Worlds
Lily and Isa meet up late one night to discuss the increasing chaos. Isa reveals a terrifying truth—she’s been having vivid dreams of a place that seems to exist outside of Black Hollow, a strange limbo where time doesn’t work the same way. The world is cracked, torn apart, and there’s always a figure standing in the distance, waiting, watching.
Lily’s eyes widen as Isa describes the place—because she’s been there too. She recognizes it. It’s the Hollow, or at least one of its manifestations.
“We’re slipping between the worlds,” Lily says, her voice low and haunted. “The Hollow’s presence is bleeding through into reality. That’s why people are vanishing. They’re being pulled into its world.”
Isa is unsettled by the truth of Lily’s words, but she doesn’t yet understand how deep the connection goes. Lily knows the only way to stop the Hollow is to sever its grip on Black Hollow entirely—but she’s beginning to wonder if it’s too late. What if the Hollow isn’t just a place? What if it’s alive?

Act III: The Thorne Legacy
Determined to find answers, Lily and Isa decide to return to the Thorne Estate, knowing it holds the secrets they need. Caleb, who has been researching the estate’s dark history, joins them.
Inside, the atmosphere is oppressive, the air thick with a sense of foreboding. As they move deeper into the mansion, they uncover hidden passages beneath the floorboards—rooms filled with symbols, arcane artifacts, and cryptic notes left by the Thornes themselves. One of the artifacts—a small, silver pendant—glows faintly in the dark.
The pendant is engraved with the same symbols that Lily saw in the cemetery, and when she touches it, a surge of energy flows through her. Her vision distorts, and she sees the Hollow, alive and twisting, its roots spreading beneath Black Hollow, reaching into the very heart of the town.
Then, the vision shifts.
Lily stands in a vast, empty landscape, a world disconnected from time. The sky above is dark red, and the ground beneath her is cracked and lifeless. She sees herself standing at the center, the pendant glowing fiercely in her hand.
> “You are the bridge,” a voice whispers in her ear. “The Hollow wants you to open the way.”
The vision fades, and Lily staggers back, her hands trembling. She realizes the truth—she isn’t just connected to the Hollow. She is the key to its expansion.

Act IV: The Hollow’s Hunger
The Hollow is no longer just a distant force. It’s actively reaching out, pulling on the town, unraveling it piece by piece. The barriers between worlds are thinning, and soon, Black Hollow will be consumed entirely. Lily knows that the longer she hesitates, the more irreversible the damage will be.
But she doesn’t know how to stop it. The pendant is tied to the Hollow’s power, and its pull on her is becoming stronger by the day.
As the night wears on, the group hears an eerie sound in the distance—loud, piercing whispers that echo through the estate’s walls. Caleb goes to investigate, only to return with disturbing news: there’s someone in the town square.
Lily and Isa follow him, and when they arrive, they see something impossible: a crowd of people—neighbors, friends, and family—standing together, their eyes glazed over, their faces empty.
The crowd is silent. Their movements are mechanical, as if they are being puppeteered.
Lily approaches, her heart pounding. But the moment she steps forward, they all turn toward her in unison. Their eyes shine red, and a low growl rises from their throats.
The Hollow is here.
It’s taking over.

Final Scene:
The camera lingers on Lily’s face as she stands in the center of the crowd. The wind picks up, the whispers growing louder. Her hands tremble as she grips the pendant. The Hollow wants her—wants her to open the way.
But as the crowd steps closer, Lily makes a choice. She holds the pendant high, summoning the Hollow’s power to her.
> “Not yet,” she says, her voice filled with both defiance and fear. “I won’t let it win.”
Suddenly, the ground shakes violently, the earth splitting open. The Hollow reacts—its roots clawing at the ground, trying to force its way through.
But Lily stands firm.
The camera pulls back as the wind howls, the whispers growing into a deafening roar. Black Hollow is about to face a reckoning.
