"Sit down," the older goddess said, indicating to two low stools in front of us.
I took a seat, seeing no other choice. When Isis asked you to do something, you did it without question. Though Ma'at seemed to be having some trouble with that. The goddess of justice was the one bringing everyone together in the fight against Seth, and commanding a room full of egotistical gods. But even though there were only three of us in the room, she wasn't the most powerful one. Isis would pull rank on anyone, Ma'at included.
