Chapter 9Steven leant me some clothes and drove me home. I was shaken, stirred, and put away wet. All those phrases that meant that I wasn’t in any condition for a jog back. He dropped me off with barely a goodbye. Though it was then I realized that, once again, I didn’t have my wallet, my keys, or my cellphone. Turned out, I didn’t need them.
