"Did you check on her already?"
I rubbed the space between my brows in frustration due to the stubbornness of my mother. I can't imagine how my dad keeps up with her attitude.
"I have told you a thousand times, mom, you don't have to come here. She's fine. My commanders have already checked on her," I responded to her.
"Your commanders? Why didn't you?" the hair on my nape stood as I heard her snap. I can imagine my dad and siblings would piss off their pants whenever they heard our mother say things in this tone.
