-Ladon- “Ladon.” I looked over my shoulder, seeing Carter walk toward me. I was standing on one of the balconies in Mefan’s castle, just watching the oasis behind it that had grown back after the fire. It was once again the beautiful place it had always been, and it was so calming to look at. “What’s on your mind?” I inquired as Carter came to stand beside me.
