A Nervous Wreck

364 Words
I take the time to brush my long black, thick hair and grab my mascara out of my bag, my hands are shaking and I am running out of breath. I quickly turn on the water and splash it to my face. "Okay, okay I can do this." I take a deep breath, apply my mascara and straighten out my bangs. I turn the water off after I brush my teeth and head toward my closet for something to wear. I put a red silk tank top on and pair it with black leather pants and red heels. I look in the mirror and decide that this will have to do. "I have to do this, I just have to." I don't personally go all out like this, but this is the last time I swear. I grab my favorite black leather jacket and head out for the night. "Dad is working late so I don't have to worry about being home super early "I think to myself as I start the car. Tonight is the night that I finally get it, I get what I want and I don't care about the consequences. I drive through the forest, through the twist and turns, and I finally make it to where I need to be. I get out of the car, it's chilly so I pull on my jacket and start walking through the thick trees. Just up ahead I see the fire, I pick up my pace just a little my heart is pounding, I'm so nervous. After what seems to be forever I reach my destination. "Are you ready?" Jason calls out to me before landing a back flip off of his lifted truck. He had his long shaggy hair slicked back and his ocean blues were staring straight into my soul. "Ready Freddy" I say with a nervous giggle. He reaches into his red varsity Letterman jacket and pulls out the resurrection pendant. "May your fate forever be changed tonight. He loved you so much ya know." I can see tears welling up in his eyes. His bestfriend, my lover, gone but not for long. May my fate change forever tonight.
