Two hours later, Kylo and I sat at a restaurant inside his pack. I hadn’t made a move toward him, hadn’t had the confidence to get much closer. The earlier times I had come face-to-face with Kylo, my wolf had made it easy to flirt with him. She always wanted him—always. But now, I could barely feel her on the surface. Ever since we’d left Roman, she had been so distant as if something wasn’t right. But hell, even I couldn’t tell anymore with her.
