Chapter 37
We walked to Claire’s place. Everyone’s inside already we could hear them talking from outside. We stand in front of the door. Kraven holds my hand and pulls me back. He cleans the tears from my face.
Kraven: “Just breath babe. Everything will be okay, you’ll see.”
He leans and gives me a kiss on my forehead.
Kraven: “I love you.”
I stayed silenced.
Kraven: “Are you ready?”
I nodded yes. We went inside. Everyone was laughing and talking and been loud. I sat down and really didn’t talk much or join any conversation. Claire started taking our measurements. When it was Kraven’s turn I couldn’t help but stare at him. I love him and I wish I didn’t feel this way so things would not be so complicated. Before him the only worry I had was if Tristan will choose me. Now I don’t even know is Tristan even wants me anymore.
My eyes start to water but I’m holding my self from crying. I looked down for a second and as I raise my view to him he had turned around and was staring at me.
Claire: “Okay Kraven your done. Selene your next.”
Kraven walked over me and lower himself to me.
Kraven: “I’m sorry.”
Luna: “For what?”
Kraven: “For everything I’m causing you. If I wasn’t here you will be happy and things with Tristan will be perfect.”
Is like he knows sometimes what I’m feeling.
Luna: “You know that ever since we danced at the mask ball I never stopped thinking of you. Even when I was with Tristan I always wondered about that guy I danced with. So as you can see I’ve always been thinking of you even before you came to be a commander.”
Kraven: “And I regret letting go of you that day.”
I smiled.
Kraven: Luna, I cant tell you why or how I know we are meant to be. But that’s the reason you cant control yourself around me. Our bodies want eachother that’s why you feel like I’m your drug. I was born to be yours and you mine. You just have to give yourself the chance to feel it and when you do you will understand everything.
Luna: “I cant Kraven, I feel that Tristan’s my soul mate.”
Kraven: “Luna there are even stronger connections then been a soul mate. You just need to give in. Stop fighting your feelings for me.”
Luna: “I…”
Claire: “Luna is your turn.”
I stared at him I get up and walk towards Claire. He sits where I was sitting and stares at me.
Claire whispers to me.
Claire: “Is there something wrong Luna? You look sad.”
Luna: “Can we hangout later?”
Claire: “Yes of course. Just me and you?”
Luna: “Yes.”
Claire: “I do have a lot of work if you want when the commanders leave you can stay here. We can order some food just like we used to do.”
Luna: “That’s perfect.”
Claire: “Ok we are done Luna now Malcom get over here.”
I sit next to Kraven. He rest his hand on my knee and starts rubbing it. I laid my head on his shoulder. He gave me a kiss on the head. He makes me feel so safe.
Claire: “Okay everyone we are done. As soon as I start them Ill call you again to come in. You may all leave now.”
Kraven: “Your staying here right? Sorry I over heard you talking.”
Luna: “Yes I am. And is okay I know you cant help it. I really need this.”
Kraven: “I agreed babe. I will see you later. Let me know your safe when you get back okay.”
I smiled.
Luna: “Okay. Ill see you later.”
He kissed my forehead and left.
Claire stares at me with a smile on her face.
Claire: “His really protective of you Luna. You can see how much he loves you.”
Luna: “Yes he makes me feel safe and that no matter what, he will always be there for me.”
Claire: “Oh Luna what are you going to do? And it doesn’t helps how good looking they both are hahaha.”
Luna: “I know it doesn’t hahaha.”
Claire: “So tell me why are you sad then.”
I told her everything that happened today since the meeting.
Claire: “I cant believe Tristan would grab you like that. I understand he was mad but that doesn’t gives him the right. Now I like Kraven even more.”
Luna: “I did it wrong to Claire, and is not the first time. “
Claire: “You’ve kissed him more times?”
Luna: “Yes we have and something else happened.”
I told her about what happened in the shower when we were at the leprechaun mission.
Claire: “Oh my! Luna what are you going to do? Maybe his really meant to be with you.”
Luna: “And that’s not all. Remember the time when we sneak in the mascaraed party with costumes on.”
Claire: “Off course when you met your mystery guy and never saw him again.”
Luna: “Well the mystery guy is not that of a mystery anymore. He was Kraven.”
Claire: “Your lying.”
Luna: “Nope. I’m not.”
Claire: “Oh Luna. I care for Tristan and I know you love him he may even be your soul mate. But you cant ignore your feelings for Kraven either. I know Tristan loves you more than he loves himself, but steel he cant make up his mind and choose you. You need to think that if he got scare today with your magic and acted like he did what’s going to happened when you get your full powers. And as a far as I’ve seen, Kraven looks at you different then him. He admires you and the way he speaks about you and acts like there is no one else in the room is something rare and unique. You can see he wants to protect you, love you, comfort you and he is a romantic to.”
Luna: “Yes but he also has his moments with s****l comments hahaha.”
Claire: “Yes, but like you he cant help it.”
Luna: “I guess your right."
We order food and kept talking for a few hours while she worked. Someone knocks on the door. Claire opens it.
Braxton: “Hello my love. We are going out to the pub for some drinks you want to come?
Oh hey Luna, you want to come to?”
Luna: “No I have to go is getting late. Go have fun Claire, you’ve been working all day.”
I get up and walk out I see the other commanders all dress up nice.
Claire: “Are you sure Luna? It will be fun.”
Selene: “Yes Luna you barely hang out with us anymore. Join us.”
Luna: “No is okay I really have to go. Ill see you tomorrow in training. Have fun.”
I started walking away.
Kraven: “Luna wait. Ill walk you back.”
Luna: “No, don’t worry about me go have fun Kraven. Ill be home safe.”
Kraven: “I wasn’t asking you Luna.”
He smiled.
Kraven: “And besides I feel better knowing your safe.”
Luna: “Okay babe.”
We started walking. Is night time and you could see the stars up in the sky.
Luna: “The sky looks beautiful tonight.”
Kraven: “Not as beautiful as you.”
He stares at me and starts blushing.
Kraven: “I’m sorry hahaha that sounded cheese.”
Luna: “Hahaha just a little.”
We started laughing. He grabbed my hand as we kept on walking.
Kraven: “Did you have a good time with Claire?”
Luna: “Yes I really needed that.”
Kraven: “You know is true what the others say.”
Luna: “What?”
Luna: “Your young and because of Tristan you don’t get to go out doing normal stuff. You don’t get to have that much fun.”
Luna: “I know. But that’s really the only time I have to be with him.”
Kraven: “Yes but that’s also the only time your free from your duties babe.”
Luna: “Yes I know.”
We kept walking in silence. We get up a hill, the sky looks more beautiful.
Luna: “Oh wow.”
We stopped for a minute. He goes behind me and wrapped his arms around me and holds me close to him. He leans in and kisses me on the cheek. He pulls away but I hold his arms tighter around me.
Kraven: “Okay babe. We don’t have to go.”
Luna: “Just hold me please.”
Kraven: “Ill love to.”
He pulls me even closer to him. I lean my head to the side and he rest his on me. I can feel his lips kissing me gently on my neck.
Luna: “Have you ever seen such a view.”
Kraven: “I’ve seen one better then this one. Would you like me to take you there one day?”
Luna: “I would love that. Can I ask you something?”
Kraven: “Yes babe.”
Luna: “Did you get scare of me today in the meeting room?”
Kraven: “No I did not. I though it was sexy. Thoughts came to my mind that I cant tell you about. Why do you ask? Don’t tell me he got scare hahaha. He knows your going to be ten times stronger then that right? I cant wait for you to get your full powers Luna. I know you’ll be stronger then all of us."
He holds me tighter.
Kraven: “You can never scare me away babe. Come, we have to go. We don’t want him to see me kissing you good night.”
Luna: “Oh so your going to kiss me goodnight?”
Kraven: “Yup, that’s my plan.”
I turned around and looked in to his eyes.
Luna: “I’m here. Kiss me.”
He caresses my face and leans in and gives me a gentle full of passion kiss. We have our eyes closed and we keep on kissing. When we stop he smiles.
Kraven: “I love you.”
Luna: “And I you.”
We kept walking back.
Kraven: “You know babe, you just broke your promise to Tristan about not kissing me again.”
Luna: “I know, I cant help it. I love you.”
Kraven: “Well at least the promise lasted for a few hours. Hahaha.”
Luna: “Shut up Kraven don’t make fun of me hahaha. I tried my best.”
We get to the castle and he walked me to my door.
Kraven: “Well princess good night. Ill see you tomorrow.”
Luna: “Good night. Don’t get to drunk.”
Kraven: “Oh no I had no intentions on going to the pub.”
Luna: “What?”
Kraven: “I wanted to walk you home, that was my plan.”
Luna: “Really!”
Kraven: “Good night.”
He smiles and leaves. I entered my room but Tristan is not there yet.
