Chapter 36

I’m at the hospital waiting for Selene to bring me the healing water. I’m in Kraven’s arms resting still.

Luna: “Kraven do you love this blanket?”

Kraven: “My blanket?”

Luna: “Yes.”

Kraven: “Um, I don’t love it but I like it if that’s what you mean. Why do you ask?”

Luna: “Cause I’m taking it from you hahaha.”

Kraven: “Oh really.”

He smiled.

Luna: “Yup, it smells like you and I want to keep it. Ill buy you another one. And why do you even use a blanket you don’t get cold.”

Kraven: “I use it for feeling more comfy when I sleep. Since I cant have you in my arms. And no you don’t need to buy me another one I have another I can use. But you know instead of the blanket you can have me.”

Luna: “I wish I could.”

Kraven: “I’m here next to you aren’t I?”

Luna: “I know and I love it. But when I cant have you I want to sleep with your scent near me.”

Kraven: “Luna, don’t turn in to a creep hahaha.”

Luna: “Hahaha. I wont.”

We kept talking and laughing. Is so weird how we can just enjoy each others company.

Kraven: “Luna, thank you for giving me a chance.”

Luna: “You deserve it babe. You had me fall in love with you without me noticing.”

Kraven: “Hopefully one day you can see how much I love you.”

He grab my chin and softly moved it near his face. Our lips are barely touching. I want to kiss him. He rubs his nose with mine. But then pulls away and gets off the bed.

Kraven: “Tristan is near.”

Luna: “Oh.”

Tristan walks in the room and sees him sitting on the chair and me on the bed.

Kraven: “Ill be outside.”

He left the room. Tristan gives me a steamy long kiss.

Luna: “What was that for?”

Tristan: “I’ve missed you my love. I couldn’t have you in my arms last night. Here I brought you flowers.”

Luna: “Oh love they are beautiful. Thank you!”

There is a knock on the door and its Selene with the water and the doctor. She gave me the water and I started feeling better. The doctor check me and said I was good to go. I started getting my things. Kraven got in the room and started grabbing his stuff Tristan wont take his eyes off of him.

Tristan: “Here your blanket.”

Kraven: “Is not mine anymore.”

He had a smirk on his face.

Luna: “Is mine, I stole it from him.”

Tristan: “But you have your own blanket Luna.”

Luna: “Yes, but I liked his more.”

Kraven: “Ill see you later Luna. Get better.”

He left the room. I ran out towards him and called him.

Luna: “Kraven.”

He turned around. I ran and gave him a hug.

Luna: “Thank you.”

Kraven smiled and smelled my neck.

Kraven: “You see I like your scent too. And you are welcome my princess. Ill always be there for you no matter what. Bye babe.”

Luna: “Bye.”

I went back to the room. Tristan doesn’t looks to happy.

Luna: “Are you okay Tristan?”

Tristan: “You know you dint have to hug him.”

Luna: “He is my friend and I was thanking him for the help.”

Tristan: “Oh now his your friend. I thought you asked him to be far from you?”

Luna: “I’m his commander leader so it was difficult to do our duty, Tristan. So we decided to at least be friends.”

Tristan: “Okay Luna if that’s what you say Ill believe it for now. We have to go. Do you have everything you need.”

Luna: “Yes lets go.”

We arrived at the castle and we went to our room. He put my stuff there.

Tristan: “I have to go for now love. Ill come back for dinner. Try to rest.”

He grabs my waist and pulls me in and kisses me.

Luna: “Don’t go stay here with me.”

Tristan: “I cant. We have a meeting with Shaun about what happened yesterday.”

Luna: “Don’t I have to be there?”

Tristan: “No just the other commanders, Shaun your mom and my dad and off course me. Ill let you know what happens okay.”

Luna: “Okay. I love you.”

Tristan: “I love you to my love.”

He left and I went to bed. I couldn’t sleep. I remembered I had Kraven’s blanket and got it. He smells so good I fell asleep within seconds.

Later there is a knock on the door. I opened it and it was Claire.

Claire: “Hi Luna how are you feeling.”

Luna: “I’m much better now. I haven’t seen you for a while. What you been up to?”

Claire: “Just busy getting your uniforms ready for the commanders tournament.”

Luna: “Are they coming out good.”

Claire: “Yes I’m choosing what fabrics will look good together. I need you and the other commanders to meet me later so I can get your measurements.”

Luna: “Okay. They are now in a meeting but when they are done we will go there.”

Claire: “Perfect ill see you later Luna.”

Luna: “Okay Bye.”

I took a bath and waited for almost two hours but Tristan is not back from the meeting. I decided to go see what was happening. I get there and all I hear is people arguing. I opened the door and Shaun is yelling at Lord Barek. Lord Barek yelling back at him. The queen is yelling at them. Tristan is trying to calm his father. Selene and Malcom are arguing. Braxton and Kraven are just talking about something else.

I lift my arms and quickly touched the ground and sent a wave of black magic all over the room. Everyone stayed quiet and staring at me.

Luna: “What the f**k is going on?”

Queen: “Luna you should not be doing magic like that yet, you might hurt yourself.”

Luna: “I’m great already don’t worry about me. I have things to do with the commanders. Why is this meeting still going?”

Tristan: “Shaun wants Kraven to apologies for assaulting him. Kraven wont do it. So Shaun wants him out of the commanders or he will leave.”

My eyes turned black in anger. I have a black aura around me.

Luna: “Shaun wants what?”

I turned to Shaun and stand one feet from him. He looks scare of me. My veins are turning black but I have it under control.

Queen: “Luna calm your self.”

Luna: “You want who to leave? Let me tell you something. This is my team, and no one is messing with them specially not with Kraven. He saved me and he new it was wrong what you were doing. Be a man and take responsibility for your mistake or get the f**k out. But if you ever try messing with any of them the one choking you next time will be me.”

My black magic is all around him now. He is shaking and lost for words. I stepped away and face the commanders.

Luna: “We have costume fittings with Claire lets go.”

They all get up in silence and walk out. I stayed behind for a second.

Luna: “Mom everything is okay here?”

Queen: “Shaun do we still have a problem?”

Shaun: “No my queen.”

Queen: “Everything is okay Luna, you may go.”

Luna: “Tristan my I speak to you outside.”

Tristan: “Off course.”

We go out and start walking down the hall. I pushed him in a little corner and kissed him.

Tristan: “Luna, are you okay?”

Luna: “Yes, I’m great. Why my love?”

Tristan: “Your black magic felt a little scary at some point in there.”

Luna: “What? You know I wont do anything to harm any of you. Right?”

Tristan: “I just dint know if you were under control. That’s all my love.”

Luna: “Tristan I will never hurt you. I love you.”

He smiled. And pull me in for a kiss.

Tristan: “I trust you. I love you Luna.”

His looking at me different then he did before. But I think is because of what just happened with Shaun, his a little shaken up.

Luna: “I have to go. Ill see you tonight?”

Tristan: “Yes love”

I kissed him and left. I cant put my finger on it but he was acting different.

I went out the castle and the others were waiting for me there.

Selene: “Luna that was amazing.”

Malcom: “Yea, Luna is a badass.”

Braxton: “Thank you for defending all of us.”

Luna: “Off course you are not just my team we are a family.”

Kraven is just staring at me. He smiles. And walks towards me. He grabbed my waist and pull me in to his arms. I wrapped my arms around him. We are hugging.

Kraven: “Thank you babe.”

Luna: “You know I cant loose you. I love you to much.”

Kraven: “I’m yours, you will never loose me.”

He pulled away and put his hands on each side of my face and stared at me. He lean to kiss me but stopped half an inch away from my lips. Are noses are touching as we breath wanting to kiss.

Braxton: “Lets go everyone.”

The others start walking away. Kraven starts to pull away and started walking. I grabbed his hand and pull him close to me. I ran my finger thru his hair and kissed him. He grabbed me and pull me in tighter and started kissing me. A few seconds we stop.

Luna: “I’m sorry. I had to babe.”

Kraven: “I couldn’t help it either babe, but I started walking away cause Tristan was behind you.”

My heart stopped. I turned around and see Tristan staring at me with a disappointed face and watering eyes. I just froze.

Tristan: “Really Luna? This is what you do when I’m not with you?”

Luna: “Tristan I’m sorry. Please forgive me.”

He starts getting mad.

Tristan: “And you Kraven you are enjoin ruining things between us. Aren’t you?”

Luna: “I was the one who kissed him not the other way. So don’t blame him Tristan.”

Tristan walks towards me and with an angry voice gets in my face.

Tristan: “How can you lower yourself for a vampire?”

Luna: “What?”

Tears start coming down.

Tristan grabs me by my arm.

Tristan: “A vampire Luna. Really. You would do this with that thing.”

He squish my arm harder. Kraven pushes him away from me and stands in front of me.

Kraven: “Remember who the f**k your talking to Tristan. And if you laid a hand like that again on her you’re goanna have to deal with me.”

Tristan: “I’m sick and tired of you vampire. I don’t care how many times you saved her, all your really after is to get between her legs. If you haven’t already. Am I wrong Luna?”

Luna: “Tristan please is not like that.”

Tristan: “And yet here we are. How can I choose you when your acting like a w***e going around with only god knows who. And getting dirty with a fealty vampire.”

Kraven: “Learn your place Tristan. And get over yourself it was just a kiss.”

I’m crying none stop.

Tristan sees me and for a second he stares at me.

His eyes change.

Tristan: “I’m sorry for reacting like this Luna. I got so mad that words just kept on coming out without me thinking.”

He starts calming him self down. Kraven is still in front of me. Tristan sits on the stares. I go and sit next to him.

Tristan: “I guess today we did scared each other. I’m sorry.”

Luna: “No I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have kissed him. Can you forgive me?”

Tristan: “Can you forgive me for hurting you. I shouldn’t have grabbed you like that. I’m sorry.”

Luna: “Off course my love.”

Tristan kissed me on the cheek.

Tristan: “Can we talk more tonight.”

Luna: “Yes love.”

Tristan: “I have to go Luna. Ill see you tonight.”

He gets up and stares at Kraven and walks away. Kraven is standing in front of me with an angered face. I stare at him and tears come down my face. He sits next to me. I laid my head on his shoulder.

Kraven: “Luna I don’t like the way he grabbed you.”

Luna: “He was just mad at that moment that’s all.”

Kraven: “If he ever lays a hand like that again I’m the one his going to deal with.”

Luna: “I’ve never seen him like that before Kraven.”

Kraven: “I don’t trust him anymore. And is that the kind of king you want by your side. Someone who hates other creatures. I thought that this kingdom was for everyone to feel safe and accepted. With a king like that ruling next to you that’s not good.”

Luna:” His not always like that.”

Kraven: “Okay Ill trust you, but I don’t trust him with you anymore. I love you Luna and I will protect you from anyone and anything. He acted like that just because of a kiss. Which by the way I loved it. Hahaha.”

I smiled.

He gets up and extends his hand to help me up. We started walking towards Claire’s place.
