Chapter 24

I went to the hospital and the doctor ran a few tests on me and got some of my tears to start doing tests on it so he can develop an antidote for the shadows poison. After that I went to the lake to meet the others. Everyone’s there already even Malcom is skating with Selene’s help. Kraven is there to, I hope he is not over doing it after what he just went thru. I joined them and we are all having fun. Kraven keeping distance from me like he promised. I start talking to Claire while skating. Malcom fell down near us and Selene went down with him. She kept on sliding to where my legs where. She hits me and my entire body fell back. Just when I’m about to hit the floor with my head Kraven catches me.

Kraven: “Are you okay Luna?”

Luna: “I think so, than you.”

His still holding me in his arms and we just stared at each other. He leans and gets close to kiss me but pulls back and then helps me to get up.

Selene: “I’m sorry Luna. Are you okay?”

Luna: “Yes I’m okay thanks to Kraven.”

Later we all just sit and talk about what will Shaun give us for training tomorrow.

We left in the afternoon. Kraven kept distance and didn’t talk to me. I kind of miss it though.

At night Tristan came to the room we spent a good time. We had dinner, took a bath, had s*x and I felt asleep in his arm.

Morning came and is training day once again. I woke up before Tristan he was still sleeping I gave him a kiss and went to get breakfast. The others are there already. All of them but Kraven kook like they have a hangover.

Luna: “What happened to all of you?”

Braxton: “We went out drinking last night and lost track of time.”

Kraven: “I had to carry them back to their rooms.”

Luna: “Really you guys?”

Shaun: “Well good morning. You all stink like beer. Really professional.”

Luna: “I’m sorry Shaun I should of known there whereabouts last night.”

Shaun: “Yes you should of Luna as their commander leader you should of known. As punishment I need you to go run five miles after we are done with this meeting.”

Luna: “Yes sir.”

Kraven: “Wait is not her fault! She was responsible, it was them the ones that did it wrong.”

Luna: “Is okay Kraven.”

Kraven: “Then Ill run with you Luna.”

Luna: “You don’t have to Kraven.”

Kraven: “I want to.”

Kuna: “Thanks Kraven.”

As Shaun starts talking Malcom starts puking then Selene and Braxton.

Shaun: “Training is postpone for tonight meet me at the courtyard at eight at night. Get warm clothe on. That’s for now. And you all better be in good conditions tonight. You are all dismiss. Luna you know what to do.”

I went outside with my warm clothe on and started running. Is heavily snowing today. You can see my breath every time I breath out. I hear someone approached me. I look to my side is Kraven. He smiles and joins me. The first few minutes there is only silence.

Kraven: “I’m sorry Luna. But is not fair for you to get the punishment.”

Luna: “Is okay Kraven. The others looked like crap so for them to get punished it would have been worst.”

Kraven: “Yes I guess so, they would of been here puking there brains out ha-ha.”

Luna: “Yup. Did you go with them last night?”

Kraven: “Yes I did. But for me to get drunk is hard unlike them.”

Luna: “Why is it that no one told me to go too?”

Kraven: “I went cause I thought you where going too. And yes I know you want your distance but at least I get to see you from far away.”

Luna: “Aww your so cute.”

Kraven: “You know you don’t help to make it easy for me not to kiss you right now.”

Luna: “I’m sorry. I know is hard for you. But I feel the same way.”

We then just started talking and laughing. He was telling me about all the crazy things the others did last night at the pub.

Luna: “We made it! Five miles done baby.”

He has sweat coming down his face and his cheeks are red. I take out a small towel and clean him. He is just starring at me.

Kraven: “Is not fair.”

Luna: “I know but I’m done with the punishment.”

Kraven: “Not that. I’m saying is not fair he gets to have you when I know I can give you more then he can.”

I starred at him and kiss him on the cheek.

Luna: “Than you for not letting me do this alone.”

Kraven: “I told you ill always be there for you babe.”

We left. I went to my room and Tristan is getting ready to leave he kissed me and left. We didn’t had time to talk I only told him that I had training at night. I took a bath and waited to be night time for the training.

I hear a knock on my door. Is Kraven.

Kraven: “Are you ready to go?”

Luna: “Yes I am.”

I see him with like five jackets on. I only have two. I asked him why so many jackets when he doesn’t even gets cold. He said he has a good idea about the challenge. I made nothing of it and just kept on walking to the courtyard.

When we arrived there, we were the first ones and few minute later the others joined us.

Shaun: “Good everyone’s here. You see the circle on the ground? All of you will step in it and learn how-to survive in this weather with whatever you brought on tonight.”

Selene: “What?! Are you serious, we will freeze to death.”

Luna: “Selene the boys are immune to the cold so is just you and me freezing.”

Kraven: “Babe Il never let that happened to you.”

He winked at me.

Selene: “That’s so unfair.”

Shaun: “Stop the complaining and all of you get in.”

We get in the circle and snow starts falling again.

Shaun: “No one gets in or out of the circle until the sun comes out tomorrow. The challenge starts now.”

Braxton: “Is snowing to much for a camp fire. We need to keep the girls alive you guys.”

Malcom: “Selene Ill sit on the floor, you can sit between my legs and with a few jackets we can make like a cocoon for you to be warm in it. And since my body heat is high you wont get cold.”

Braxton: “That’s a good idea Malcom.”

Kraven: “I brought six jackets we can use them for the cocoons.”

Braxton: “Kraven your body doesn’t give that much heat so Luna is goanna have to be with me on this.”

Kraven: “I know Braxton, there’s no problem just keep her warm for me.”

Luna: “I’m right here you know.”

Kraven: “Ha-ha, I know babe.”

He touched my cheeks.

Braxton: “Come Luna, sit here so Kraven can put the jackets around us. Luna my body heat is really high so if you start feeling like your getting a heat stroke you need to tell us fast okay.”

Luna: “Okay.”

Selene sits on Malcom’s lap she looks really comfy. I sit between Braxton’s legs with my back against his chest our legs are bend close to my chest. Kraven starts putting the jackets around us. Before he covers my head he gives me a kiss on my nose fallowed by a smile then proceeds to cover me.

Hours have pass. Kraven’s in charge of checking us listening to our heart beats and letting us know how much time we have left of the challenge.

Braxton’s body feels so hot. He is a werewolf his heat is amazing. I feel cozy in there. I can feel all his biceps and abs around my body. At one point he leans and smells me.

Braxton: “Sorry I couldn’t helped it. This is the first time you are this close to me.”

Kraven: “Braxton really?”

They raise their voices.

Braxton: “I’m sorry Kraven I’m a werewolf and I cant help it.”

Luna: “What are you guys talking about.”

I feel something hard behind me.

Luna: “¡Oh never mind!”

Braxton’s face turns red.

Braxton: “I’m so sorry Luna. I cant help it.”

Luna: “Is okay Braxton. Don’t worry.”

Kraven: “No Luna is not okay! Ha-ha.”

Braxton: “Kraven you know this means nothing.”

Kraven: “I know man. Just keep her warm, nothing else. Ha-ha.”

Luna: “I’m glad you two are having fun with this.”

Kraven: “Sorry babe.”

A few more hours pass.

Kraven: “Three more hours left you guys.”

Luna: “I’m feeling weird Braxton I… I…. Cant breath.”

Braxton: “s**t. Kraven get her out!”

Kraven rushed and started taking the cocoon apart. He grabs me and pulls me out. I start breathing again. He holds me close to his chest. His face was worried about me.

Braxton: “Kraven you need to do it instead of me. Ill rap you two around and with her body heat and your body shielding her she will be okay.”

Kraven: “Luna is that okay with you? You will be really close to me.”

Luna: “Yes is okay.”

He sat down and I sat between his legs with my back close to him. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me even closer to him.

Braxton covered us and I started to get warm.

Luna: “Much better.”

I grabbed his hands and tilt my head to the side he leans his head on my neck and kissed it. I pull him even closer to me. My body is shivering.

Kraven: “Are you okay?”

Luna: “This feels perfect.”

Kraven: “I know it does.”

Luna: “Thank you for taking care of me the way you do.”

Kraven: “Always and forever babe. Even if you push me away ill always be here for you.”
