Chapter 41

Luna…. Luna… My love I’m here.

I opened my eyes and see Tristan. His caressing my head.

Luna: “Tristan?”

Tristan: “Yes my love. I came as soon as I heard what happened.”

I sit up very fast scared.

Luna: “Where’s Kraven?”

Kraven: “ I’m here babe.”

I looked over, his leaning on a table with his arms crossed.

Luna: “I thought you left me.”

Kraven: “I will never leave you Luna. But Tristan is here now so you’re in good hands okay. I have to go to the meeting room to talk to the others.”

Luna: “ Please don’t go! I need you to protect me.”

Tristan: “Luna I’m here I wont let anything happened to you my love.”

Luna: “I want Kraven here, he’s the only one that can protect me.”

Tristan: “My love I will protect you don’t worry.”

Luna: “ Where were you before?” You didn’t protected me, if it wasn’t for Kraven I. I…”

I started to fall asleep again.

Kraven: “She’s in shock still that’s why she said that. She really didn’t mean it. I have to go. Ill be back soon. Please take care of her.”

I heard the door open. I woke up again.

Luna: “Kraven don’t go please.”

He walks towards me and kneels on the floor next to the bed. He gives me a kiss on my head and caresses my chin.

Kraven: “Babe I’m going to be in the meeting room Tristan is here to protect you. I’m not that far away if anything happens just call for me and Ill be here in seconds okay.”

I nodded my head as I fell asleep again.

An hour pass and I started waking up feeling better. Tristan is in bed, with me in his arms. His caressing my head. I turned around and he smiles. He kissed my forehead.

Tristan: “Welcome back my love.”

Luna: “Hi. How long have you been here?”

Tristan: “About and hour and a half. Are you feeling better?”

Luna: “Now that I’m in your arms I feel perfect my love.”

He smiled and pulled me closer to him.

Tristan: “I love you and I’m sorry I wasn’t here when you needed me.”

Luna: “Is okay my love. You’re here now that’s what matters. I love you.”

He smiled and kissed me.

Kraven arrives.

Kraven: “Please don’t do anything on my bed.”

Tristan: “Don’t worry we wont. So what happened in the meeting?”

Kraven: “The queen is on her way here now to talk.”

Tristan: “Is my father with her?”

Kraven: “No.”

My mom arrives in the room with Morgan.

Queen: “Luna how are you feeling?”

Luna: “Much better now. Did you checked the guards?”

Queen: “Yes, the commanders checked.”

Luna: “And?”

Queen: “They were all killed.”

Luna: “What? All of them?

I started crying. Tristan try’s to make me feel better by caressing my arm. I lean on his chest.

Tristan: “And the protection wards?

Queen: “He destroyed them all.”

Luna: “We need to protect the people from monsters attacks.”

Queen: “Yes. Lord Barek is getting all the high Elves to come here by tomorrow so they can make new wards but it will take up to three weeks to get it all ready. Tristan you to have to join him.”

Tristan: “I will my queen.”

Luna: “I need my commanders. We need to make a plan of defense.”

Queen: “Luna you don’t need to do that. You need to pack your things you’re leaving the kingdom.”

Luna: “What?. No mom. I need to be here.”

Tristan: “She needs to be were we can protect her.”

Queen: “I agreed Tristan and that’s were she’s going. The kingdom is not safe for her right now.”

Tristan: “Where is she going then?”

Queen: “She will leave with Kraven to his phyla.”

Tristan gets up from the bed.

Tristan: “What? No. If she goes there then I’m coming with her.”

Queen: “ You need to stay here Tristan. Your magic is more powerful then most Elves. The kingdom needs you for its protection.”

Tristan: “Why him and his phyla?. Can it be another phyla?”

Queen: “His phyla has the strongest protection wards, and the population is eighty percent vampire is almost impossible for a demon to get in. And who better to protect Luna then Kraven. We know he wont let anything bad happened to her Tristan.”

Tristan: “I know he will protect her that’s not my problem. I don’t want him with her alone.”

Kraven: “What are you scare of Tristan? Your afraid she wont be yours when she gets back hahaha.”

Tristan gets his sword out.

Tristan: “You want to try my patient Kraven?

Queen: “Calm yourself boys. This is my daughter you’re talking about. And beside she’s not going alone with him. Claire and the commanders are going to, for extra protection."

Tristan lowers his sword.

Tristan: “Like that makes a difference. Kraven you better respect her and remember that she’s with me.”

Kraven: “I wont do anything she wont want me to.”

Luna: “Kraven please. Tristan I’m right here so stop talking of me like that. I think I can make my own decisions."

Tristan: “ I’m sorry Luna but I don’t trust you around him. You know you cant help yourself when it comes to him. You will end up f*****g each other.”

I Looked at him. I got embarrass and disappointed he would talk to me like that in front of my mom.

Queen: “Tristan your out of line and that’s a conversation you need to have when there’s no one else around.”

He gets mad and throws his sword to the side. He stares at me and tears start coming out down his face.

Queen: “Everyone out. Give them there space.”

They all left.

Tristan: “I’m sorry. I just got so mad. Just to think of you in his arms raises my blood.”

I just stared at him in silence.

Luna: “You were out of line. I felt embarrass Tristan.”

Tristan: “Luna I’ve searched for a reason you say you cant help yourself around him but nothing comes up. I looked thru every vampire book and there is nothing that makes a vampire have a mate connection or anything of such thing.”

Luna: “Are you calling me a liar?”

Tristan: “I’m sorry I just don’t know what else to think love. Maybe you just want him to, and you don’t want me to get mad. Maybe you want to believe there is something else so you don’t feel guilty falling in to his arms every time. I really don’t know anymore Luna. All I know is I love you and I want to spend my life with you. But I cant be competing with him for you anymore.”

Luna: “What are you telling me Tristan? Are you breaking up with me? Because is not fair. I’m not lying about not being able to control myself around him.”

I started crying nonstop.

Tristan: “I don’t know anymore Luna."

My mom knocks on the door.

Queen: “Luna you need to leave soon. Everyone is waiting for you already.”

Luna: “Ill be out soon.”

Tristan: “Go. We will talk when you get back in a few weeks.”

Luna: “I cant leave like this. Tristan I love you and I want to be with you. Please talk to me. Don’t leave me hanging like this.”

Knocks on the door again.

Luna: “Please Ill be out soon!”

I get close to him and hugged him but he didn’t hugged me back. I start crying even more. His just standing there mad about something that haven’t even happened, how can he be like this. I step away from him and look in to his blue eyes. He looks at me with tears coming down his face.

Luna: “ Your doing this for something that has not happened Tristan. Or maybe you think I’m lying. But let me tell you something you’re the only one I’ve had s*x with and the one I see my self marrying. I want to have your children and be a family. But you will rather throw everything away because you think I will f**k him. Maybe we are not really meant to be.”

I start walking towards the door.

Tristan: “I’m sorry Luna. Please forgive me.”

He gets close to me and pulls me in his arms.

Tristan: “I don’t want to loose you. I’m scare I will loose you to him.”

We both are crying now.

Luna: “So what do you want Tristan. Are we over or what?”

Tristan: “I want to be with you Luna. But I cant trust you two together.”

Luna: “Your making no sense Tristan. Are you or are you not breaking up with me?”

Knock on the door.

Luna: “I have to go.”

He just stands there in silence.

While crying I tell him.

Luna: “Tristan you’re breaking my heart.”

I left the room and went outside the castle. Crying my eyes out.

Queen: “What happened Luna?”

Luna: “I think he broke up with me.”

I started crying even more.

Queen: “I’m sorry Luna. Give him time. Maybe he’s just confuse. Talk when you come back okay. Here I got some of your things. Be safe my darling.”

I grabbed my things while walking towards the others. The others are already on there dragons waiting for me. I’m looking down so they don’t see me like that. When I look up I see Kraven looking at me and waiting for me. I walked towards him. He grabbed me in his arms and hugged me.

Kraven: “I’m sorry I’ve cost you so much pain. Is not safe for you to ride in that state of mind. Ride with me.”

I grabbed his hand and got on his dragon. I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head on his back with tears coming out.

Kraven: “Let it all out babe.”

We ascended and got up in the sky.
