Ambushed part 1

Chapter 10

We got on our horses and Rick was our guide to the place where the girls disappear. We ride for thirty minutes and on our way I started thinking about the magic I learned with my mom on my training. She showed me magic specially for this quest. I learn leviator which it levitates 10 feet around me, but I could only do it two feet’s from the ground when I turn eighteen I’m suppose to be able to do it about ten feet from the ground. She showed me a fire bolt that I can cast as an attack. And the other one is tracto which is used to track steps on the ground. I hope that I can help the team and not choke when needed.

We made it to the location. The area is all woodsy and with uphill’s and downhill’s all around.

Rick: “ Well here it is the place the family’s said the girls were last seen”.

Braxton: “Thank you Rick, we will search everywhere for clues”.

Rick: “Ill be on my way now, I will come back tomorrow morning with food for all of you, bye.”

Selene: “ Where should we start?”

Malcom: “ Well I think we should go uphill because most of the time there are caves up the mountains and that would be a good place to hide.”

Kraven: “Yes I agreed with Malcom, that’s were we should start searching first.”

Luna: “ Okay sounds like a plan. Lets go.”

We walked for twenty minutes and then Kraven said it smells like old blood. We all started searching around and we found it under the leafs. I used my magic for tracking but there wasn’t anything to se. It must have been there for to long and the tracks were lost because of time and climate. Kraven tried to see if he can peak up more smells of blood but he didn’t get anything. Braxton tried to get a sent of the person but got nothing it doesn’t helps that a few days ago it rained for two days nonstop, that’s going to make it harder for us.

We just kept on searching, a few minutes went by and Malcom found a foot print in the mud.

Malcom: “ Hey I found something here.”

Braxton: “ Let me see, is a weird foot print, lets see where it leads”.

We started getting the leaf out of the way they were foot prints but did not look human at all, right next to it there were drag marks, it looked like whatever it was, was dragging something. Then you could see the footprint change into a human one. That’s where we realized the leader must be a shape shifter, that means that it is strong and we must be on guard at all times. Is not just a group of goblins, when they have a leader that can turn to human, they are a big groups and always have plans outside of just killing and rapping.

Out of no were we heard like one hundred footsteps at once coming for us. We grouped up in a circle back to back trying to locate where the attackers were coming from. In less than a minute we got surrounded by goblins. There were about one hundred and fifty of them and only five of us. They were really fast and screaming all the time, some had shields and they had hammer style weapons with spikes on them.

Braxton said, Luna hold them when they ran to attack. So as soon as they ran to start attacking us I did my leviator magic and the boys and Selene quickly attacked and kill all of the ones ten feet near us. I couldn’t hold it for to long. So we started to yell..

Luna: “ I cant hold it for much longer you guys.”

Braxton: “ Just a little bit more Luna we must kill at least thirty of them”.

Selene: “ Luna is okay as soon as you cant do it anymore ill start my attack with my singing.”

Luna: “ Okay Selene.”

The goblins just kept coming towards us. At this point I cant hold it anymore so a told Selene she was up. Selene started her attack with singing notes they came out like sharp s***h waves that cuts anything in her pass. It was raining blood everywhere. You could see our faces dripping of blood that’s how savage her attacks were.

Then out of no where she got hit by an arrow on her throat.

Luna: “ Seleneeee.”

I Started screaming, I ran to her and took the arrow out. She started gasping for air I held my hands covering the hole. She showed me the healing water and I gave it to her, the hole closed but she couldn’t talk. She grabbed her sword and started fighting along side the boys and me. At this point we have killed about one hundred and suddenly another wave came down the hill and separated us. We started killing what we could but they were just to many of them. I started throwing fire balls and burning all the ones around me.

Then out of no where I see Rick, he ran’s and says they took the girl (he meant the one that had cooked for us the day before).

Rick: “We came to bring you some water and they just took her”.

So I ran with him to grab her and save her he told me right in here. There was a dark hole that went down so I bent to see if she was there then all of the sudden I feel this hit on the back of my head. I reached were I felt it and my hand was cover in blood. I’m going down my body feels to heavy I cant move.
