Chapter 29

Today I didn’t wanted to go to breakfast but today is the day we get our kissing booth ready for the carnival. Since is not snowing anymore I know today will be hot so I put on some really short pants and a tank top.

I get to the dinning room and Kraven cant take his eyes off of me. So we met up at breakfast and discuss the last things for it.

The boys went ahead to start building the booth and Selene and me went shopping for some fabrics we needed. When we finished we went to meet with the boys.

We see a large crowd near our booth and some guards. We don’t know if something bad happened. When we get there we realize the boys don’t have their shirts on and they were all sweaty and they had a crowd of girls just looking at them work. We realized and started laughing. I’m used to been with them that I forget we are all basically royalty to everyone else.

Luna: “Well boys looks like you have some fans ha-ha.”

Braxton: “Yup. Hopefully that helps with raising money tomorrow with the booth.”

Malcom: “Even you girls have fans. They been asking for the girls commanders to. Hahaha.”

I see Kraven’s sweaty body looking so good. At that time Tristan arrives and the crowd starts shouting for him to take his shirt off to. He looks at them and just laughs. He sees me with my clothe and he just stares at me.

Tristan: “Well commanders tomorrow the whole thing is for a kiss on the cheek is five dollars but for a kiss on the lips is one hundred. Remember this is for charity and for people to get to know the commanders that protect the kingdom. I leave you to work. See you all tomorrow. Luna can I speak with you?”

Luna: “Yes.”

I get over to him. And he starts talking in a low voice.

Tristan: “I’m sorry for what you saw yesterday.”

Luna: “I’m okay. I just feel like I’m the other woman. And no one told you to do does things you know. Did you have to?”

Tristan: “You’ll never be the other woman for me my love. I love you. And you know I’m always a gentleman. I have to go but ill see you tomorrow. Oh and by the way you look really sexy today.”

I smiled at him. He left. We started working on the booth. We took a break afterwards and ate their. Kraven keeps staring at me.

Luna: “Kraven stop being a creep hahaha.”

Kraven: “Is not my fault you look fine Luna. Hahaha.”

Luna: “Oh whatever.”

Later at night they invited me to go out with them like always but I decline again.

Kraven: “Luna if you want I wont go so you can hangout with them.”

Luna: “No Kraven is okay ill just go home.”

Kraven: “And cry yourself to sleep babe. Come out with us and at least get your mind out of things for a little. And besides you don’t see Tristan crying and being sad, do you?”

Luna: “I guess. Okay ill join you guys for a little.”

We went to the pub they always go. We have a Vip area so no one can be creeping on us. They are drinking and laughing. Its actually fun I’m having a good time. Kraven is keeping his distance so that’s nice. A few hours pass and Tristan comes thru the door with Cristal all happy and laughing. He sees us and comes over to our table.

Tristan: “Hey guys, this is Cristal.”

Everyone said hi. Except for me off course. He asked her if she wanted a drink and he went to get it for her but before he went to get it he asked me if I wanted one two. I look straight at him with a serious face and nodded no.

Malcom: “Hey Cristal how are you liking Tristan so far?”

Cristal: “He is really nice and he’s a real gentleman.”

Selene: “Is he your type?”

Cristal: “Not really, but he is really nice.”

Clair: “And what’s your type?”

Cristal: “I like them to look like bad boys like Kraven.”

As she said that she stares at Kraven with a seductive look.

Kraven: “Well your not my type Cristal, so don’t get any ideas.”

Cristal: “Maybe I can change your mind.”

She tried touching his abs but he held her hand and pushed it back and said:

Kraven: “You see that girl across the table. The one that everyone knows as princess Luna. That girl is the girl of my dreams. And you don’t even come near to be like that.”

As he said that he is just locking his eyes on me. I get red and just smiled at him. At that same moment he was saying that Tristan had come back with the drinks. Cristal was in silence so did the other ones.

Tristan: “What did I miss?”

He slam the drinks on the table.

Braxton: “Nothing much really.”

Malcom: “You missed your girl hitting on Kraven.”

Tristan looks at me thinking it was me.

Braxton: “Yes Cristal said her type is more like Kraven.”

Cristal: “Really you guys.”

Tristan: “Oh. Okay. Is an arranged marriage I don’t expect to be her type.”

He sat down it was weird for a little bit but then everyone cool off and started having fun. Later on we left.

Morning came it was carnival day. Me and Selene got dress with pretty dresses and the boys had their suits on. You could see all the marks of their muscles still. We sat down on our chairs. The people were doing lines already waiting for us. We started the kissing booth. Some where kisses on the cheek and some where jus a little kiss on the lips. I cached Kraven looking at me whenever their was a kiss on the lips and I did look when he had to kiss on the lips to. Some guys and girls wanted a more steamy kiss but we pulled back from does. It went well and smooth. Almost at the end Tristan arrived with Cristal in hand.

Tristan: “How’s everything you guys.”

Braxton: “Good we are almost done here.”

Tristan: “When your done you can all enjoy the carnival. I know some of you would like to see the lanterns.”

He looked at me at that moment

Braxton: “That’s the plan.”

Kraven’s line is over and we are all about to finish with the last ones. Kraven gets up and walks to my line and stands behind the las guy. Tristan is looking at him with a mad face. The other commanders just started laughing they new what he was doing. I finish with the guy before him and he sits in front of me. He gets one thousand dollars out and puts it in the jar.

I’m just staring at him.

Kraven: “What kind of kiss could I get with one thousand?”

Selene: “Kraven your crazy, your asking to get killed.”

Braxton: “I hope a really steamy one hahaha.”

Malcom: “Your crazy man.”

Cristal: “Oh that’s so romantic.”

I whisper to him.

Luna: “I’m going to kill you.”

Kraven: “Well?”

I lean to kiss him. My hands are sweaty, Im shaking and I don’t know what to do. Tristan wont take his eyes off me. Kraven grabbed my neck gently and as he is getting close to me I feel his breath near me he is taking his time. He puts his lips on mine his lips feel soft and gentle. The kiss lasted for about four seconds. He backs off with a smirk on his face and says the best one thousand dollars spent.

Malcom: “Was it worth it?”

Kraven: “Every penny of it. Hahaha”

He smiles and gets up and joins the others. I’m even scare to look at Tristan now. I see his standing there looking at me.

Braxton: “Well we are done. Have fun you guys.”

We all gather and start talking and the music starts. The announcer says…

Announcer: "Well people grab that special someone and bring them to the floor."

I looked at Tristan and he smiled at me and me at him. And he started walking towards me but Cristal holds him by the hand and pulls him away to the dance floor. She gets close to him. He is holding her waist and he starts talking to her in her ear. For a moment he looks over me and sees my disappointed face and my eyes watering. He then looks at her again and they are just laughing and having a good time. He probably did it cause he is mad at me. I’m about lo leave before I start crying and I hear this voice behind me.

“Can I have this dance with the most beautiful girl in the kingdom?”

I turned around and with his hand standing out for mine I see Kraven. His looking straight in to my eyes we lock our stares. I give him my hand and say, yes you may. We start walking to the dance floor without looking away from each others eyes once we made it there he pulls my hand to his face and kissed it fallowed by putting it on his shoulder. We start to dance. It was a slow song. He pulls me closer. I rest my head on his chest. He was different in a romantic way. I saw Tristan’s looking over at us and for a moment our eyes met. After a few songs:

Kraven: “I herd there’s going to be a lantern release. Do you want to go with me?”

I look into his eyes.

Luna: “I love to.”

He smiled and grabbed my hand and we started walking to it. As we were walking holding hands people were starring. You could hear them whispering within them. I was a little nervous I’ve never walked with someone like this. Kraven squished my hand twice and asked me if I was okay. I smiled looking at him and told him I’m always okay when I’m with you. He smiled at me.

We get to the lake and see boats in the water, there’s people around with their lanterns. We get a small boat just for us. With lanterns in hand we wait until is time. When they announce it was time Kraven light mine first and them his. I’m just sitting there admiring him. We let go of the lanterns. The lights around where like stars, I got a feeling in my stomached like never before. As I’m looking up I fix my view to Kraven. His looking up at the lanterns with a beauty in him I have never notice before. He looks at me and smiles as he noticed I’m looking at him. I got embarrass and looked away. He leans to me and caresses my face gently.

Kraven: “You don’t have to look away. I’m yours babe.”

I’m just staring at him. He leans forward and kisses me softly on my cheek. He rubs his side cheek on mine and whispers.

Kraven: “I new ill have new adventures when I came to the kingdom, but I never new I will fall in love.”

He pulled away all I wanted to do was kiss him. But I dint I new he wasn’t like his used to be because his just doing what I asked him to. The night was over, he helped me out of the boat and walked me back to my room holding my hand.”

Luna: “Thank you for tonight. It was one of the best of my life.”

Kraven: “Your welcome babe.”

He grabbed my hand and kissed it.

Kraven: “Ill see you my love.”

I smiled and got in my room. As I closed my door I cant believed how perfect this night was.
