Chapter 12

At night the girl that lived with Rick came in the room. She spoke for the first-time to us. She told us she wasn’t allowed to speak to us. Rick was the one that murder her dad and took her mom as a hostage and if she dint do what he wanted he would punish her mom. She tanked us for saving her and her mom.

Meanwhile in the castle. My mom received the news of what happened in our mission and quickly called Lord Barek and Tristan to the meeting room. She told them the news;

Queen: “I got news from the team. They finished the mission and were able to rescue nine of the girls that were missing.”

Lord Barek: “Well I’m glad everything went well.”

Tristan: “Are they all okay?”

Queen: “Well they all got hurt pretty serious but thanks to Selene’s healing water they got better. But Luna did lost to much blood and still is delicate and needs more time to get well. She is currently at a small hospital the town has. They gave her some blood transfusion but they don’t have anymore that matches hers. At this point they cant do much for her. She is still weak and the four day journey back looks impossible for now.”

Lord Barek: “Then we must sent for her.”

Tristan: “I can go. I’m a dragon rider and I can bring her back in a day my queen.”

Queen: “I don’t think she will like that Tristan she doesn’t want special treatments just because she is the queens daughter.”

Someone knocks on the door and asked Lord Barek to speak with them outside of the meeting room, so he left.

Tristan: “Please my queen I will go and get her, please sent me.”

Queen: “We need to wait and see if she gets better and is able to make the trip back Tristan.”

Tristan raises his tone.

Tristan: “And wile we wait she could die. Are you willing to loose her, your own daughter, the future queen? Just because you want to wait and see? I would go and get her. Ill bring her back safe. She needs our doctors. I will not risk loosing her.”

The queen starred at Tristan. And he realize he said to much.

Queen: :Careful Tristan if your father heard what you just said he would think your in love with her.”

Tristan: “And would that bee so horrible my queen?”

Queen: “No it wouldn’t Tristan but..”

The door opens and Lord Barek joins them again.

Lord Barek:” Sorry my queen for stepping out. What did I miss? So what is the decision then? Are we getting her or not?”

Queen: “Tristan made a point. Lets get them all not just her. So she doesn’t feels like we did it just for her.”

Lord Barek: “I would get the dragon riders ready. Tristan you can lead them.”

Tristan: “Yes father.”

Queen: “Go ahead Lord Barek I need to talk to Tristan for a minute.”

Lord Barek left.

Queen: “Tristan I always had my suspicions of you and Luna having feelings for each other. I always see how she looks at you and you her. Am I wrong?”

Tristan: “No my queen.”

Queen: “I’ve asked her a few times but she always denied it. Thank you for telling me the truth. You know I don’t have a problem with it.”

Tristan: “You don’t?”

Queen: “No Tristan I think that you are perfect for her. If you married her you will be a strong pair and this kingdom would have very powerful rulers and if my daughters happy then I'm happy.

But you know your father will not be happy about it. It will mean he and your grandfather will loose there titles in there elves council. And they are the first and second in command. And also you are after all in a arrange marriage. You need to make a hard decision between Luna and your family. Do you think you are capable of choosing her? You don’t have much time Tristan. All I ask of you is, if you for some reason don’t think you would be able to choose her don’t waist her time and spare her feelings the sooner the better okay. Don’t led her to something that’s never going to happened. Please think about it.”

Tristan: “I will my queen. And maybe my dad will be okay with it.”

Queen: “I know him pretty well Tristan and he rather have power then love. Believe me.

Oh and before you go here take this to Luna is blood the doctor took from me for her to get it before you return. And please Tristan hurry I’m getting a bad feeling.”

Tristan: “Ill leave right away.”

He went outside and called his dragon Ruby. She made a majestic landing.

Tristan: “Hey beautiful today we have a mission for the queen.”

Ruby: “Finally lets have some fun.”

Dragons can only communicate to the riders they choose. Tristan gets on and ruby starts to decent. He left and they flew quite fast. The other riders fallowed them. The riders have a mount for to people on the dragons just incase they need to bring someone with them.

Tristan: “Hang on my love, I’m coming.”

Back to me. I find my self in the hospital but today I feel weaker then yesterday. Selene came in my room in the morning. She started to yelled calling the boys and doctor. My body looked lifeless. The boys came in the room and were in chock. Kraven rush to me and started calling me .

Kraven: “I still hear her heart beat, she is barely alive.”

The doctor came in and gave me a shot and it helped me come back a little. He said that I had a fever and probably have an infection or my body is having adverse reaction to the blood they gave me with the transfusion. Kraven grabbed the doctor by the neck and held him against the wall. He told him;

Kraven: “You better do something because if she dies you die and I will make sure is a painful and long death.”

Braxton and Malcom are telling him to let the doctor go, they are pulling him away from him but they cant even move him.

Luna: “Kraven please stop.”

He looked at me and immediately let him go.

The doctor scared for his life told them he would do whatever he can but I don’t guaranty you anything.. He gave me new medicine and made me stable for a few hours.

Doctor: “I did all in my power she needs to go to a much better and equipped hospital.”

I closed my eyes. I hear Tristan’s voice from far away it keeps getting closer to me I must be dreaming. Then I feel this warm touched on my face I opened my eyes and I see this beautiful blue eyes, is Tristan.

Tristan: “I’m here my love.”

Caressing my face gives me a kiss on my forehead. I started crying.

Tristan: “Don’t cry my love everything if going to be alright. I’m here to help you and take you home okay. You don’t have to worry just rest and Ill take care of you.”

I nodded my head saying yes. He gave the blood my mom sent to the doctor and the doctor quickly started the transfusion. I started feeling better but I still had a fever. As soon as the transfusion ended he quickly got me ready to leave. He carried me outside with the boys help, and sat me down on ruby.

Luna: “Oh Ruby you are more beautiful then I imagine.”

Ruby: “Oh I like her Tristan.”

Tristan: “She is really special Ruby.”

We all took off. The views from the sky was beautiful and even if I wasn’t feeling good I was there with the love of my life, with my arms around him holding him close to me. He had one hand on mine it was romantic in a way. There is nothing more in this world then been in his arms. I love him more then I love myself. And I know he feels the same about me.
