Chapter 27

We woke up early today. I find myself still in Kraven’s arms. I kissed his nose and told him:

Luna: “Wake up sleepy head.”

He opened his eyes and looks at me and smiled. He then pulls me closer to him.

Kraven: “I don’t want to wake up. Because when I do I wont have you in my arms again. Stay with me five more minutes please.”

Luna: “Okay I will.”

I get closer to him. He smells so good. I’m intrigue.

Luna: “Kraven you keep saying we are meant to be. Why do you day that?”

Kraven: “Is something that you know when you feel it.”

Luna: “I don’t understand.”

Kraven: “Of course you don’t babe. At first I dint either but Braxton helped me understand it. You cant feel it because your heart belongs to Tristan right now and that’s not letting you commit to the feelings you have for me.”

Braxton interrupts the conversation.

Braxton: “Get ready, we need to leave soon.”

We all get up and get ready to meet with Nick. We went outside and Nick is ready with a backpack on his back.

Nick: “Well good morning commanders I hope you had a nice rest.”

He takes out a map and shows us where the leprechaun like to spend most of their time. We start hiking, later we passed a small village where the leprechaun have been attacking the people.

Nick: “A little further.”

We reached a spring. A beautiful site with colorful flowers, clear running water, birds and fairy’s all around.

Selene: “Wow.”

Nick: “Yes really beautiful. The people from the village like spending there time here but since the leprechaun attacks they cant.”

Braxton: “Well lets fix this problem.”

Luna: “How are we going to catch them?”

Nick: “I brought a cage but it never seems to work after we captured the first one.”

Kraven: “We need to lure them in with something they love.”

Malcom: “Yea but what?”

Kraven: “They love shoes and buckles but most of all they love gold.”

Braxton: “Well I have a buckle here.”

Selene: “I have an extra shoe.”

Kraven: “I have gold.”

Luna: “I also have gold.”

Nick: “Okay, then lets set up the trap. And remember they are fast and sneaky.”

We gather everything and set up the trap. Minutes pass and we hear something running fast in the bushes. And all of the sudden we hear a clap sound. We look over and we had cached one.

Selene: “Ewww they are kind of ugly. What even are they?”

Luna: “They are a kind of a fairy.”

Selene: “Fairy’s are beautiful I know I dated one before. But that thing is the ugliest thing I have ever seen.”

Braxton: “Lets get him, so Nick can give him the serum.”

Malcom: “Wait what? You dated a fairy?”

Kraven: “Focus you guys. Ill grab him first Braxton.”

Nick: “Careful he will try to bite or attack.”

Kraven puts his hand in and the leprechaun bit him. But Kraven didn’t flinch at all and still kept going. He grabbed him, took it out of the cage and Braxton joined to pin him down. Nick ran fast and gave him the serum. The leprechauns eyes turned from red to yellow and stopped being aggressive.

Nick: “One down three more left.”

Kraven: “Okay lets do this.”

Kraven’s hand is bleeding from the bite.

Luna: “Are you okay Kraven?”

Kraven: “Yes babe don’t worry is just a bite. It will heal in minutes.”

He smiled as he is getting the next trap ready. We all scatter around waiting for the next one. But this one took more time. An hour has passed we are all just resting on the ground, some by rocks some by tress and some by bushes.

Malcom: “Well I’m bored.”

I closed my eyes for a few minutes. I was about to fall asleep when I feel something near my face. I opened my eyes and screamed. The leprechaun was inches from my face and rushed to bite my nose. Just in that moment Kraven grabbed it and held him down really hard. At the same time Selene starts screaming, the other two leprechaun had grabbed her legs and where dragging her on the ground. Braxton and Malcom ran after her. Kraven is holding his but the leprechaun is strong. I ran towards Kraven and helped him with it. I feel how strong the leprechaun is pushing back. I cant even hold him that well but Kraven has him under control, I cant believe Kraven is so strong. I call Nick so he can give him the serum. Nick rushed and gave it. Now we need to run after Selene.

We start running and catch up to the others they are cover in blood from all the bites and scratches. Malcom manages to hold one down and nick gave him the serum. Now we only need to get the last one. Braxton got a hold of him but slips out of his hand. Kraven speed ran pass all of us and reached him holding him and dragging him on the floor. Nick throws the serum to Braxton and he gave it to the leprechaun.

Nick: “You did it! Yes, finally there will be no more attacks on the people. Thank you guys so much.”

They all got up. Selene started walking slow, she was soar from being drag on the ground. I feel like I dint do nothing really. The boys did an amazing job in this mission. They are really strong.

When we finished Nick announce to the village that the leprechaun problem was fixed. Everyone started cheering and offer us a gathering with food and dancing. We were starving so we agreed to it.

The gathering started. There is music, people dancing and having fun. Kids playing and running around. We all sit on a table, girls come up with food on their plates and drinks. There are even girls looking at the boys like if they were a piece of candy. We were all laughing and dancing. I danced with Braxton and Kraven and Selene and Malcom joined us we were in a circle having fun and dancing together. Some girls approached me and Selene and put on us flower crowns on our heads. I haven’t had this much fun in a long time. Even Nick was enjoying him self with a few girls around him.

Three girls approached our table and asked the boys to dance with them. Selene dint look to happy about it.

Selene: “You can dance with him but remember he is my boyfriend.”

Braxton and Malcom got up to dance. Kraven stares at me not knowing what to do.

Luna: “Go babe have fun.”

He smiled and left to dance.

Selene: “I don’t like this Luna. Every time I go out with him girls are always starring at him.”

Luna: “Hahaha. Selene what do you expect look at them. They have body’s fit for gods and their all beautiful guys. You might not see it but, you are a show stopper to."

Selene: “I guess your right.”

Luna: “And besides he gets to go to bed with you and no one else.”

Selene: “Yea that’s true. Thanks Luna."

She stayed silence like she wanted to aske me something .

Selene: “Luna can I ask you something?”

Luna: “Yes, what is it?”

Selene: “Are you still with Tristan?”

Luna: “Yes I’m still with him. Why do you ask?”

Selene: “Because I see how you and Kraven look at each other. Kraven is a really special you know and a great friend is not fair for you to lead him on if you don’t feel the same.”

Luna: “I know Selene. I do love him. But there is something between us I cant understand and is making me have mix feelings when it comes to him. And believe me I’m in love with Tristan and I don’t want to be with anyone else but Tristan. I’m just confuse with everything really.”

Selene: “Okay I understand. And besides I don’t blame you Kraven and Tristan are fine looking guys. Hahaha. Just make sure you don’t play with there hearts okay”

Luna: “Believe me that’s not my intentions.”

After all the dancing and eating Nick approached us and let us know it was time to go. We went back to the camp took showers and got things ready to leave the next morning.

Everyone is getting in their beds when I look up I see Kraven lifting his sheets up waiting for me. I smiled and got in bed with him. He gave me a kiss on my head and pulled me close to him. I immediately fell asleep.

Morning came we all got up and said our good byes to Nick and left on our horses. It started getting cold so we needed to change clothes again. We did and while we were waiting for Selene Kraven asked me if we could talk. I said yes worried cause he never asked me that.

Luna: “Hey.”

Kraven: “Are you goanna tell Tristan about what happened between us in the shower?”

Luna: “I think I will. Why?”

Kraven: “Just to know incase he wants to try to fight me. And also…”

Luna: “What? You can tell me anything you know.”

Kraven: “Is not fair Luna. I get to have a little taste of what is like to have you with me and then I don’t have you at all. And I treat you and love you the best way I can and then I have to pretend we barely know each other. You know it hurts.”

Luna: “I know. I’m sorry.”

He grabs my waist and pulls me in for a hug. Followed by a kiss on the forehead.

Kraven: “I love you Luna.”

He smiles but for the first time he looks sad. And I know I cant do this anymore. His hurting and it breaks my heart. All his ever doing is keeping me safe and loving me the way I never new someone besides Tristan can love me.

We left. I road the rest of the way in silence. Feeling like a failure. When we arrived at the kingdom we all went to report the mission in the meeting room. I started to wonder is Tristan was already done with his mission. Everyone left and I asked my mom about it and she said that his not back yet.
