Chapter 9 Tuesday evening was beautiful. Hazel had outdone herself in the culinary department. Not only was the lamb done to perfection, the cauliflower compote had just the right amount of garlic and cilantro was even more scrumptious than I thought it would be. The plums had added a sweet tang to it. The salad was superb. The banana cake with caramel sauce icing was delicious. “Phew,” I sighed as I set my napkin on my plate, “If I ate like this every day, my tuxedo would be much too small.
