The next two months were hectic. I conducted the Philharmonic spring concert and then the children’s camp concert, which made almost twenty-five-thousand for the camp. Both concerts got rave reviews and everyone seemed quite happy with them.
I’d already started planning the next year, of which I already had the programs in my mind for the first two concerts. There would be a new work on the fall concert and another soloist for the spring. I knew who I wanted to present…Now to find out if she was available.
