Finally, after an awkward dinner, Emma and I were about to walk Alpha Matthew out when Lucy came running down the stairs in a panic.
“Mom! Mom! Lisa fainted!” she shrieked into Emma’s arms.
“What?!” We both asked at the same time.
“Jess is with her. She went to…She fainted and her nose is bleeding!” Lucy sobbed loudly.

I could see that Emma was not comfortable or happy at his remark as she pushed Lucy behind her protectively.
