I must have dozed off because Lucy was shaking me awake.
“Hey, baby.” I said rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
Lucy stared at me then at Lucas wiggling her nose in confusion as she does at times.
“What’s, wrong sweety?” I asked getting up.
She scrunched up her nose even more, then simply shrugged. She grabbed my hand and almost ran to the door dragging me behind her.
“Come see our cave!” she exclaimed excitedly.
