I let out a sigh as I knew where this was going. She was clearly not happy about this. I just want her to let me handle this my way. I need to call Pedro as soon as possible. I need anything we can find on them that we can use and I don't want Maddie to be involved in this because it will clearly upset her.
"Maddie, trust me with this, please," I begged. Hoping that she will.
