The car pulled round the corner and Gemma caught sight of her parents home. She’d already texted Daryl, to tell him she was on her way, and he’d replied with a single word… good. Seeing what was waiting she thought she’d be sick. Hanging around near the front drive were seven of Daryl’s friends from the gym. They were drinking, even though it wasn’t even lunchtime yet.
