The Discovery Part 1

            Ethan's birthday was soon approaching on the weekend. Mason, Tiana, Liam and Blue was running around making sure everything was finalized for his party. For Ethan's party Blue and Tiana bought the decorations deciding that they would have a Paw Patrol theme. Everyone agreed upon having 3 large moon bounces, a cotton candy machine, someone who would do face paintings, a snow cone machine, someone who would perform the magic show, a candy station and other games to play. 

     The food menu was hamburgers, chips, hot dogs, french fries, chicken nuggets, vegetable and fruit platters, pizzas, water and juice boxes. Ethan's birthday cake will be made out of Paw Patrol with chocolate ice cream allowing each child who came; be able to take a goodie bag and balloons home. Mason said, ''hey yall how about me trying to get some of the Paw Patrol members to come? Everyone said, ''if you can do that; that'll be cool''! ''Blue, you still gonna tell Finn about Ethan,'' asked Mason? ''Yeah, I have to tell him but I don't know when. 

      What do think? Should I tell him before or after the party,'' asked Blue? Mason said, ''Now, knowing what I know about Finn, you should tell him before his party. Finn doesn't like being caught off guard especially something of that magnitude. I think if you tell him right before the party he may keep it respectful. He's very composed. I don't think he'd cause a scene but he'll be pissed for sure. Finn Bailey is a very a unpredictable person. I personally wouldn't wanna get on his bad side but that's me. Make it before the weekend would be my advice to you sis. 

         You can tell him here so we can be here for you both, but Blue he may be pissed regardless because you should've told him from the start. Why don't I call the guys and Tiana can call the girls and we all can get together tomorrow,'' said Mason. ''That'll be great; I'll go call him now. Well goodnight Mason. I'll see yall in the morning,'' said Blue. ''Goodnight Blue and don't worry it'll be fine,'' said Tiana. Blue jumped in the shower, got in the bed and called  Finn.

B(Blue) F(Finn)

B: Hello? Griffinn?

F: Hey baby how are you? How was your evening?

B: Hey babe, I'm fine my evening is great. I'm still at Tiana house and you?

F: I'm about to leave the office and go home.

B: Well I wanted to know can I see you tomorrow? Mason's going to ask the guys and Tiana's going ask the girls to come over and hang out. 

F: Word up, I would love to baby.

B: Oh thank you I'll call you to let you know the time. Goodnight babe...sweet dreams and be safe going home.

F: Goodnight Baby I'll be safe.

           When Blue got off the phone she placed it on the night stand and turned the lamp off laying in the bed thinking about Finn. How she was going to tell Finn about Ethan. She thought about what Mason said; how Finn would be pissed after finding out that she has a child and she didn't disclose that part about her life from the very beginning. She just didn't know how he would feel about her had she told him; so she never did. 

         She thought will he be so angry that he wouldn't want to have anything to do with her? Would he forgive her for not telling him? She hoped that he would but; if through his anger he wanted nothing to do with her he most definitely won't want to have anything to do with her when she lets him know that she was r***d and that's how Ethan was conceived. She kept her mind open and ready for the worst having so many thoughts in her head. She just hoped that Griffinn would forgive her and still want to be in a relationship after finding out about her son. Blue tossed and turned all night until 4 o'clock in the morning which was when sleep eventually took over her. When Blue opened her eyes she looked at the clock.

           It was 7:25 in the morning. She looked at Ethan who was beside her. She kissed him and got out of bed. Somehow he must've come in when she happened to go to sleep. He wanted to lay next to his mommy. She made a light snicker as she went into the bathroom to take a quick shower. After she finished and dried herself off she put her hair in french braids, putting on her pink leggings with a brown blouse and beef and broccoli Timberland boots. When she got back in the bedroom Ethan was sitting up in the bed. He looked like he just woke up. "Good Morning baby did you sleep good,'' she asked Ethan? ''Yes mommy I did. I missed you mommy, that's why I come in here in bed with you mommy,'' he said. ''Come here baby.

            You can come in my bed anytime you miss mommy okay,'' she said placing him on her lap. Ethan nodded his head up and down and said , ''Yes Mommy'' and gave Blue a tight hug. ''Let's get you dressed you'll be meeting someone today,'' she said. ''Who mommy,'' he said.  ''Someone I hope you like baby because he's a fine friend of mine. I think you'll like him,'' she said. Otay mommy,'' Ethan in his toddlerish vernacular. They walked in his room and went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and washed his face. After that they came out of the bathroom.  Ethan sat on his bed Blue went to the closet to select what would be his gear to rock for the day. She pulled out a black and yellow Polo rugby shirt with some black Champion baby sweat pants. For the footwear Ethanahad some some suede construction style Timberlands.

           Blue got Ethan dressed then they left the bedroom. Blue went to the kitchen while Ethan went to Liam's room to see if he was woke yet. When he entered into the room he jumped on Liam without realizing that he wasn't alone in the bed as Violet laid next to him sound asleep. That surprised Ethan and he said, ''Sorry Dae Dae,''! In a groggy voice Liam said, ''Grand Rising little man; it's okay. Where's your Old Earth''? Violet was awakened from the turbulence and chuckled lightly. Ethan embarassed said, ''in the titchen''. ''Okay, can you go to her and I'll be down shortly,'' said Liam. Ethan ran off to the kitchen. Violet asked, ''baby who was that''? He said, ''Oh sorry baby that's my godson. 

           That's the young god right there. The one I told you about,'' said Liam. ''Awww he's so adorable,'' she said. Liam kissed Violet across her peach shaped lips then said, ''Yeah, he must've thought I was in here by myself. Are you staying all day because everybody's coming through today. We having a gathering;  you know with the gods and earths. We're even going let the understandings get in the pool''. Sure I'll stay. If you want me to baby,'' Violet said. He said to her, ''Let's get ready before he come back looking for me''. 

        Thirty minutes later Violet and Liam went downstairs to the kitchen but only Mason was there. ''Grand Rising Mase. Where's Tiana and Blue at,'' asked Liam? ''Grand Rising yall! Oh, they went to the market to get food for today and E-quality(Ethan's righteous name that Liam and Mason has given him) is in the living room playing with his toys, he said. Three hours later Tiana and Blue pulled up in the driveway with a trunk and backseat full with bags. Liam, Violet and Mason came out of the house to help them with the bags.

         Once they brought all the bags into the house Liam finally introduced Violet again to Blue. They shook hands then they put everything away. Liam and Mason left Ethan inside with the ladies while they went out to the backyard to set the grill up and clean all the outdoor furniture before the guests arrive. Everyone was set to arrive around 2:00. It was 10:53 and there was still a lot of work to be done before everyone got there. They went to the shed to pull out 8 coolers and cleaned them putting ice into all of them. Two coolers had beers, 1 cooler had soda and bottled waters, 2 had juice boxes and 2 had wine coolers. The queens were preparing the food. 

         Blue, Violet and Tiana each took on a task so that things would be accomplished in a timely fashion. Tiana made the salads: potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad and seafood salad. Blue prepared the meats: hot dogs, steaks, chicken breast, crab cakes and hamburgers. Violet prepared the appetizers such as the chips, crab balls, cheese and crackers, spinach dip, tortilla chips, pretzels and fruit salad.

          Everyone was finished around 1:20 p.m. and  went to there rooms to freshen up for later. Blue opened up her small suitcase and pulled out a light green dress that draped slightly below the knee and some white wedge shoes. She also put on her silver watch and necklace. She went into the bathroom to put on some light make up, styling  her hair in a wavy curly. Blue was a woman who wore her allure with a sophisticated level of mature grace. A very humble woman although those of envy would think the contrary. 

         Ethan kept his clothing that Blue dressed him in on. Liam entered Blue's room wearing a Los Angeles Lakers purple on yellow Kobe Bryant home jersey, blue True Religion jeans with the Ghostface Killah custom made two tone yellow and purple Wallabe Clarks casual shoes. ''Oh s**t Liam, that's what I'm talking about. Violet is going to like that outfit. You look good yo,'' said Blue. ''Give thanks Blue. I see why Finn is so attracted to you. You got that universal magnetic,'' he said. They both laughed as Ethan entered the room. 

       ''Mommy, I need inhaler please,'' he said. She goes to her purse and passed the inhaler to him. After Ethan does his asthma treatment then he passed it back to her and ran out the room. ''Byyyyye...Uncle Mason,'' yelled Ethan!!! Liam made sure Ethan wasn't in earshot and asked, ''So Blue are you nervous about telling Finn about Ethan today''? She responded, ''Hell yeah, I'm nervous.

        I just don't know how he's gonna react! Liam what if he don t want nothing to do with me because of Ethan? If that upsets him then I know he won't want me when I tell him what Mark did to me''. ''Well I have massive respect for Finn but whatever his reaction is just know that Tiana, Mason and I will be here for you,'' said Liam. He pulled her in his arms, hugging her and gave her a kiss on the forehead to instill comfort and ease. ''Thanks Liam I love you,'' said Blue. ''I love you too. Lets go; I can hear William, Zendaya and the kids are here.They left out of the room and went downstairs. 

        Nathan, Nevaeh and the  kids were coming through the front door as they were walking into the living room. Liam and Blue greeted them, ''Hey what's yall. Glad yall could make it''! Nathan said, ''It was nothing. Glad to be invited''. ''Yall will have to excuse me. I gotta go back to the kitchen to help Tiana and Violet and see what else needs to be done,'' said Blue. ''Yeah me too. I'm going out the back to help Mace on the grill with the meats,'' said Liam.

         When Blue walked into the kitchen Tiana and Violet were steadfast at work and Blue said, ''sorry yall, what yall need me to do''? ''They said, ''Oh no problem girl. Can you take the meats to Mason and Liam please''? ''Sure I can,'' she said. ''By the way who's here already anyway,'' asked Violet? ''So far all I've seen is Nathan, Nevaeh, William and their families,'' she answered then she went to the backyard to give Mason and Liam the food so they can put it on the grill. More people were outback than she realized. 

           They must've came while she was upstairs getting dressed. She saw everyone except for Henry, Jordan, Logan, Callum, Taylor, their families and of course Finn. She spoke to everyone in attendance then departed back inside to help Tiana and Violet bringing out the appetizers, salads and rolls to the tables. Zendaya, Kamile, Kamay and Imani helped set up the tables for all of the children. Nia, Kiara, Zaniya, Nevaeh and Na'Nyah helped setup the adult tables. With Liam and Mason having lots of acres of land for their backyard allowed the kids to play without being in the way of the adults and cooking on the grill. 

         Blue retreated back to the kitchen to get more meat and while she had her back turned Finn approached her from behind and kissed her on the nape of her neck. With such a distinct kiss of Finn; Blue knew that it was him and turned around and kissed him back with so much love only stopping because Tiana and Violet came back in the kitchen. While Finn was holding on Blue; Jordan, Logan, Henry, Taylor and Callum walked pass with them; along with their families.

         After they spoke to everyone they went straight to the backyard. Blue asked, ''Griffinn, baby have you had anything to eat today''? He said, ''Yeah I had breakfast this morning but other than that...''. ''Well baby why don't you go out there with the guys and let us  finish in here,'' said Blue. Finn and Violet left the kitchen and went outside leaving Blue and Tiana as the only ones in the kitchen. Since Violet had left with Finn it gave Tiana and Blue a chance to conversate. Tiana said, ''Blue since everybody is here you know it's time to tell him. You should, I think tell him while the kids are still playing and before we eat''. 

          ''Wellll, I think I'll tell him another day, Blue said thinking twice about telling Finn. Tiana said, ''Blue, don't get mad because I've never talked to you like this but...Bitch...are you stupid!? How the f**k are you going to do that? Have you forgotten that Ethan's here? If you don't tell him Ethan will when he comes to you and says, Mommy I have to go to bathroom or anything. No it's too late. 

        You have tell him now while we're all are here so if he get pissed off the guys can help calm him down''. ''I'm scared Tiana. I'm really scared,'' said Blue. ''I know Blue but you need to tell him so at least he'll know,'' said Tiana. ''Okay, here goes nothing,'' said Blue and left the kitchen to go retrieve Finn. She walked outside looking for Finn. He was standing by the grill talking with Mason and Liam. When she saw him she approached him and said, ''Griffinn can I talk to you please''? ''Sure baby you can, what's up'' said Finn. 

       ''It's private so lets go over here if you don't mind,'' she said. ''I'll be back yall,'' he said to Mason and Liam. They looked at each other because they knew what the conversation was pertaining to then they looked at Blue and they all smiled at each other as her and Finn walked away. ''Griffinn these past 7 months have been so great. I really enjoy myself being with you and I don't want that to change,'' she said. ''Yeah you know I was thinking the same thing,'' Finn said. For ten seconds there was a uncomfortable silence and Finn noticed Blue head was down fidgeting with her dress. Breaking the silence Finn asked, ''Umm...baby you said you wanted to talk me about something private; what's wrong''? Blue took a deep breath and said, ''There's something I have to tell you. 

          Something I should've told you before we got seriously involved. Something I hope doesn't sever our relationship''. Finn interrupted her and sharply said, ''Hold up before you start. You ain't out here trickin' are you''? ''Sellin' my ass? Is that what you're implying,'' she asked? He responded, ''Yeah that's what I'm saying! You ain't sellin' your ass for money are you''? In an offensive tone she said, ''Hell no''!! ''What about exotic dancing and swinging on poles and s**t? You know all that type of stuff? You do that type of s**t after me or the guys drop you off after work Blue Walker,'' Finn asked as he peered at her with an expression of sternness. 

        Blue hardly if ever uses foul language said, ''f**k No Griffinn Bailey and I'm fuckin' offended that you would ask me such a question''! Thrown off by Finn's abrasive and uncouth questioning Blue became angry. She began to storm off but Finn pulled her back to him. Finn apologetically said, ''I'm sorry goddess but I at least had to ask you that before you went any further. You wouldn't believe the experiences I've had in my young lifetime baby so I ask that for my own sake. Heartbreak is a mother ma. 

        If it ain't those two things I think I can handle anything else. You're a deep sister and nothing will change the way that I feel for you Love''. She said, ''I hope so Griffinn. I mean I wanted to tell you earlier but didn't and I'm still not sure of what your reaction will be''. Finn put his finger under Blue's chin and said, ''baby you can tell me anything. Remember we started as friends and we will end as friends. I'll always respect you. We can work this out''.

        ''Griffinn I really wanted you to know that because I was so unsure that I couldn't tell you something of this magnitude. I was actually so afraid to tell you what I'm about to tell you. Okay, here I go,'' said Blue and before she could get another word out Finn put his pointing finger onto her beautiful broad lips and said, ''Baby stop...the little boy''? Blue tooken aback and confused said, ''Huh...umm...yeah...Griffinn he's...my...sss...'' then Finn said, ''Your sun...Baby I already knew about Ethan''. 

        Blue stood there mouth open wide enough that she could fit a softball in it. Now that's wide. ''But how! How could you possibly known about my sun,'' asked Blue? ''Girl, I've known about him ever since we went on our second lunch date,'' he said. ''Elaborate,'' she said. ''Well, remember when you asked me about your classes,'' he asked?  ''How could I not remember. That's when you was buying me all that s**t without my permission,'' she answered.

        ''How the hell you think I paid for the things at the university...by e-mail? I had to go there to do it. Oh believe me I tried but they told me I had make the transactions there. When I was about to dip guess who was pulling up,'' asked Finn? ''Who,'' she said. He explained, ''Your ass was pulling up so I sat back so you couldn't see me because if you had saw me you would've been able to put the dots together of why I was there. 

       So played the back and saw a kid in a car seat. Sheed, I thought you was babysitting for somebody. I know how you're sweet like that but I heard yall talking to each other then I heard him call you mommy and I was like...'Oh s**t she gotta a seed'! So that really made me feel good about doing all that stuff I did to help you because it wasn't only for you but for your understanding. So I saw him that day. I was just waiting to see how long it was going to take for you to tell me. I got a disdain for people who hold secrets from me. It's okay though, I understand Blue but it took you long enough.

          I felt like ,baby, he's a part of you and if I'm going to be in your life I have to accept him as well. Like I said I was just waiting for you to tell me yourself,'' said Finn. ''Thank you baby for being patient. I know you're a man of prestige and me having a seed I didn't want you to feel as if that would be a burden. Griffinn I'm not blind. You are VERY attractive man. I see women eyeing you down and I know you can have any woman you want,'' she confessed. ''Well, it's good to know that I'm not dating a blind woman. 

         That didn't come out right but you catch my drift. Don't worry about them. I want you. I'm interested in you. It's you that have my attention. So what is your sun's name,'' he asked? ''His name is Ethan Liam Walker,'' she answered. If you don't mind Blue being I see you doing all of this on your own as a single Earth, who's Ethan's father? Where he at? Who else knows about Ethan,'' asked Finn? She was about to answer Finn when Liam came over to check on Blue to see if everything was okay. ''You two okay over here,'' asked Liam? In unison the both said, ''Yeah everything's fine. 

        Thanks for asking Liam''. When Liam left and went back to helping his brother cook on the grill Blue resumed in answering Finn's questions. ''Oh, that piece of s**t? I don't even want to remember his name but it's name is Mark Daniel Longson. Griffinn, I don't know where he at and I don't want to. You know Liam has always known him being that's the homie but other than him, his brother and Tiana knows. 

          That's it, they're the only ones who know.  Liam is Ethan's godfather and that's why you'll hear him calling Liam Dae Dae. He has been the only father figure in Ethan's life since he has been born,'' said Blue. ''Liam's a noble brother and that why I f***s with him. A great dude; him and his physical. My sister got her a good one. You know we gotta tell everybody or they'll be wondering who is this little kid playing around here,'' he said. She said, ''True your right but if not, oh believe me, he'd let everybody who his old earth is.

           The young god be representin'''. They started laughing holding onto each other and Finn asked, ''you ready to go back up with everybody''. ''Yeah I'm ready,'' she said. Before they left Finn kissed Blue very passionately to assure her that everything was okay. When they reached to where everyone else was at Blue asked, ''hey yall has anyone seen a little boy with a yellow and black shirt with Tim's on''? ''Yeah, I saw him. He's other there playing with the kids,'' Kamay said. ''Thanks Kamay...Ethan! Ethan...(a pause ensued) Ethan Liam Walker,'' she said!!! He was enthralled in playing with his new friends that he couldn't hear his mama.

         Blue said, ''Excuse me I'll be back yall. Let me get this boy''. Upon her return she    came back with Ethan in her arms and walked up to Finn. ''Excuse me my people's can I have everyone's attention please,'' said Finn. ''Some of you here may know that Liam has a god son and may have even recognized him running around but you all haven't  been formally introduced. Liam's godson is my son. His name is Ethan...Ethan Walker. Say hello Ethan to everybody baby,'' said Blue. Everyone had the look of surprise, definitely William, Nathan, Asher, Callum, Henry, Matthew, Gavin and Justin.

        The look on their faces was the expressions of anger  because deep down they all knew what happened to Blue and how Ethan was conceived so in their reaction to it they all got up and walked away to get a drink from the cooler. Matthew passed around the beers from the cooler. ''Yo, Boss is going to be pissed when he finds out about how he was conceived,'' said Nathan. Before anyone of them could respond to say something Taylor walked up and said, ''Peace gods, what up with yall,'' asked Taylor? ''Maintainin' Lord...whatupdoe,'' said Callum? ''Boss said he wants to see yall in Mason's office,'' Taylor said. 

       All the guys told their significant others that they would be back then left. They walked into Mason's office and Taylor closed the door behind him. ''What's up Boss; we have have a job to do,'' asked Justin? ''No, I need to ask yall a question. How long have you all known about Ethan? Forget it don't even say nothing because the look on yall faces tells me that you've known for a long time...right'' asked Finn? Liam spoke first, ''Well you know I already knew about him from day one because she's my best friend so I was there when he was born  and I even cut the cord,''.  ''Then Tiana and me found out about him when he was 2 months and Liam brought him here but we didn't know that Blue was his Old Earth,'' said Mason.

        ''So you three been in his life from the very beginning pretty much huh,'' asked Finn? ''Yes boss in all honesty,'' said Mason. ''Boss, Callum, Henry, Matthew, Gavin, Nathan, Justin and I all find out a few months ago when Mase called us needing our assistance in finding his godson. We came through to help him. That's when we all saw him,'' said William. Henry chimed in laughing somewhat, ''Yeah all along he was in the laundry room asleep the whole time. Ol' little rascal,'' . ''Yeah we all then went to Kiddie Kool with the seeds and the girls,'' said Asher.

        ''So you're telling me you all known from day one,'' said Finn. ''No Boss we didn't know Blue was his mother until today. We just had met Ethan that day because he was with Liam,'' said Callum. ''Cool I just wanted know if everyone's story would match up; nothing major. I'm just f*****g with yall,'' said Finn then he started hysterically laughing. ''Man...Finn you gotta dark ass humor,'' said Taylor. ''I'm sorry yall. I get that s**t from my father but anyway this is how we'll do this. I want Blue and Ethan to always have someone with them at all times. 

       Taylor, what's the name of the daycare that Ethan attends ,'' asked Finn? ''In my research I found out that he attends Little Bumble Bee's Daycare, said Taylor. ''Boss, just to let you know, sometimes if Blue has to work late or has to stay at the coffee shop late to do last minute paper work she'll have to go get him then come back to work to finish,'' said Liam. ''Hold up, so let me get this straight. Blue has to leave work to get Ethan from daycare and sometimes she has to go back to work,'' Finn asked, obviously perturbed by what Liam had disclosed? ''Yeah that's how it's always been. 

        Don't forget Blue is the manager you know,'' Liam said. Finn's response was, ''Well that s**t stops today! Who ever the f**k is assigned to Ethan that day will take him and pick him up from the daycare! In our line of work, although she doesn't know what we do, it's not safe for her to be out by herself alone especially at that time of night. None of your wisdoms should be. We have people scheming on us 24/7 and 365 trying to pick soft targets. In a system of white supremacy anything can happen. I mean no one is oblivious to the fact that I run s**t but even me and the people I hold dear can be targeted as well. 

         Yo gods, she different than the rest so I want her and her sun to be a part of our family now...overstood''? In unison they said, ''Yes Boss we overstand''. ''Liam, I have to give you honor and respect for being a father figure to the young god and a great friend to Blue; man I like to thank you for that god,'' said Finn. He extended his hand out to give Liam the honorable Black Scorpion Mafia Family handshake. ''So Boss, are you really ready to be a father figure to Ethan.'' asked Matthew? ''I mean I ain't gonna lie Matt at first it was hard to conceptualize Blue having a kid but she's such a wonderful person that for her I'm willing to take on the challenge of helping with Ethan as much as she needs me; of course with Liam, Mason and Tiana's assistance. 

        So to answer your question...yes I'm ready. Okay, lets back out there. We'll talk about the rest later,'' said Finn. They went back outside with the children and their significant others. Finn walked to Blue putting his arm around her and she began to glow with illumination. ''You okay baby,'' asked Finn? ''Yeah I'm fine. Everything is good. We're having a great time. Finn would you like to meet Ethan now,'' asked Blue. ''Word is bond! I would love to meet the younger god! Bring him over here,'' Finn exciteably said, so she left to go get him from where he was playing with the other kids. ''Griffinn lets go over here,'' Blue said with Ethan in her arms as she guided Finn to an area of the backyard where they could be a little secluded from everyone else. Blue sat down in a chair with Ethan in her lap while Finn was seated next to them.
