The Talk

BLUE  POV:

      When I got home from my date I was so excited! I had a great time with Griffinn. He`s a nice guy...so far. I hope it doesn`t change because this is the first time I`ve been this close to a guy since I was with Mark. I said his name without being scared. There was a time when saying his name terrified me a long time ago. I wish Ethan was conceived out of  love, but he wasn`t. How can I tell my son that his father r***d me and that`s how he was conceived. As Blue was in her thoughts her phone rang.

G(Griffinn) B(Blue) 

G: Hello, baby was you busy?

B: Hi Griffinn, no I`m not busy. I`m just watching a movie and eating some popcorn, what about you?

G:  I have a problem at the office so I`m on my way there baby. I just wanted to make sure you were fine. Did you enjoy yourself tonight, babe?

B:  Oh yes, Griffinn I enjoyed myself thank you so much for a lovely night.

G:  You welcome baby. I`m glad too. Can I take you out tomorrow night or how about the weekend? 

B:  The weekend will be great Griffinn!

G:  I`ll talk to you later I`m at my office. I`ll see in the morning, baby, goodnight bye.

B:  That`ll be great Griffin. See you in the morning, goodnight and don`t work too hard, bye-bye. 

     I got off the phone, cut off the TV and put the bowl of popcorn on the night stand.The last thing I remembered  before I fell asleep was me smiling at the ceiling.The next day I got up, went into the bathroom to take a shower. As I ran the water thru my hair I began to reminisce about my night with Griffinn and how I enjoyed myself with him which made my body feel that much more relaxed. Once I finished showering I went back into my bedroom to finish getting myself ready for the day. I entered my walk-in closet and selected an outfit for the day. Something conservative and sophisticated but very classy. After I got dressed I put my hair in a pony-tail and put on some light make up. 

      Just enough to accentuate my features. I went downstairs into the living room and retrieved everything I needed in my travels and while at work, locked the house up, jumped in the ride and left for work. En route I decided to stop by Bob`s Diner and ordered breakfast for me and Griffinn. I purchased 2 orders of a #6 and 2 medium sized cups of orange juice with little bit of ice. While I was waiting for my orders I noticed that the diner was becoming very busy. After I waited for 30 minutes my order was finally ready and with haste I was on my way to Bob`s.

      As I entered the shop I see that they were already jam packed and busy, so without speaking I went straight to the office to put my belongings away, putting my apron on and went to help out in the front for it was only 4 of us due to Liam being off. I told Dana and Ben to make the orders, Keisha work the cash register and I`ll take the orders so that we would get the customers serviced faster. 10:55 approached and the rush finally subsided resulting in business for the time being slow, so I went in the back to see if there were any muffin orders. Their were 5 muffin orders to be ready by the afternoon and the evening.

      As was I returning to the front Griffinn was entering the shop with his friends. I greeted them as customers, "Good Morning this` Dan`s Coffee Shop gentleman, what can I get you today''? They all ordered and just as Gavin was about to pay I told Keisha that I`ll take their orders and she could make them. ''Put your money away Gavin it`s not good here,'' I said and they all thought that was quite humorous being their Boss basically owns the town. Thanks Blue...you mos def caught me off guard with one,'' he said. ''Gavin, you`re welcome,'' I replied. Griffinn walked up to the counter, softly and tenderly grabbing my hand and greeted me. ''Grand Rising goddess,'' said Griffinn. 

    ''Good Morning handsome. Guess what, if you have time I got us breakfast this morning,'' I said. ''Say word, sure let me tell fam so they`ll know to go ahead and we can get this god degree,'' Griffinn said. ''Great I`ll go warm it up and when you`re done come on in back to the office so we can grub, okay'' I said. When he got to the office I had 2 hot trays of food and 2 cups of juice. ''Awww, baby you got me breakfast this morning, thank you,'' he said. Before he sat down he grabbed me sensually and kissed me. He closed the door with his leg, picked me up and pinned me up against the door. Rubbing each other, I massaged my hands through his hair as he erotically rubbed his hands all over my body. 

     I pulled away from him before I lost control of myself. We both needed air...Ummm...his third leg was very appealing as it stood erect. We looked at each other and smiled. Griffinn put me down and we fixed our clothes and hair. ''Baby, what are you doing to me,'' Griffinn asked? ''I don`t know baby,but I`m a blame it on you but lets eat this food, it`s getting cold,'' I answered. We ate our food over a stimulating conversation and then it was time for Griffinn to go and at perfect time because it just happened to run into the lunchtime rush and we got busy again but before leaving we passionately indulged in a deep kiss escapade `til we needed breath.

      In a deep breath he said, ''baby...I`ll call you later'' and just as he was about to walk out of the office he grabbed me again, picking me up and kissing me again in an ever so alluring manner making my inner core stimulate and secrete something within me that I`d never desirously experienced before, that I didn`t know where it could`ve went until, as it always seemed to happen, it was a knock at the door. With haste we fixed our clothes onto ourselves. I answered the door with a slightly embarrassed expression on my face. It was Ben standing there with an innocent smirk on his face he said, ''excuse me but I just wanted to let you know, like you`ve always told us to let you know, we`re busy and we need your assistance''.

      ''Yes Ben, you`re right, I`ll be right out,'' I said to Ben. After Ben left I told Griffinn, ''Well baby I gotta get back to work and you should be doing the same''. ''I know but being here with you is so much more better,'' he said. ''Goodbye Griffinn I`ll talk to you later, I said, and he kissed me on the cheek as we walked out to the front. We both said goodbye to each other and I escorted him out of the coffee shop watching him as he left. I returned back to work helping to get the rush out and also began in the preparation of the 5 orders to be completed.  

     After I was finished in baking of my muffin orders, I placed them in the pick up area to be stored.The first orders were picked up at 1:15 and the second left at 3:40 and I hoped that the other 3 orders will be picked up by 8 o` clock so I can get home to get Ethan. After I finished I left the kitchen to go back to the office. I sat down in my chair at the desk and began reminiscing of the earlier events. I wondered asking my energy (inner g)supreme intelligence, ''Do I like him...I`m not moving fast am I, plus I would need to tell him about Ethan first..right? How would he take that, that I have a three year old son that was conceived from a s****l assault by an ex-boyfriend of 4 years? How would I be able tell him that? I felt like no man would want me after they heard about that, but I can`t keep it from him if we`re  still indulging in relations as such when Ethan`s bornday approached. 

     I would tell him about Ethan but not about what Mark had did to me. It was around 7:00 when Keisha said, ''Blue, those other orders were picked up as it was almost closing time due to business being slow. So I closed up so that we could clean the coffee shop. After we finished everyone left, I set the alarm, locked up and left. I drove home to wait for Liam to come with Ethan. I miss my baby so much. When I got home I showered and just as I was finished drying off Liam called to let me know that he was on his way and that they`ll be there in 15 minutes. As I looked out of the window I can see them pull up so I ran downstairs to open the door and waited for him to get Ethan out. 

     When Ethan saw me he ran to me giving me a kiss and hugged me. Liam emerged and gave me Ethan`s car seat and book bag. After he did that he gave me a kiss and I asked him did he want to come in. Liam reluctantly declined responding by telling me sorry but Mason was waiting for him plus it was a long day. I thanked Liam for everything he did for me...and Ethan. Liam said, ''No problem you know I love you both. Blue we gotta build tomorrow when we get some time''. ''That`s fine, we love you too,'' I said. He gave us both a tight hug and kiss and left. We watched him get in his car, start it up and leave. 

           The next day in the evening after work Liam followed Ethan and I home to have dinner with us. When we arrived at the house Liam got out of his car, walked over to Ethan and I, taking Ethan out of the car seat while I grabbed our belongings as we entered my house. I put our stuff up and headed to the kitchen, washed my hands and started cooking as Liam gave Ethan his bath. For dinner my menu was fried chicken wings, string beans, wild brown rice and our beverage was pink lemonade.

     By the time I finished cooking Liam had Ethan cleaned and they were playing with the toy trucks in the living room. With dinner ready  and the food on the stove cooling off I went to go take a quick shower and when I was done I went into my room to dry off and got dressed into my nighttime attire. Now it was time for dinner so I walked into the kitchen to get the plates and food ready for us to eat. I called the boys in for it was time to eat and I heard them picking up the toys, cleaning up the living room. 

     Liam holding Ethan entered the kitchen with him placing Ethan in his seat and then Liam and I sat down as we ate like a family indulging in conversation while we ate. Ethan was getting sleepy so Liam picked him up, carrying him to his room, put him in his bed and kissed Ethan on the forehead. I passed Liam Ethan`s inhaler for his night time puffs. ''Goodnight E, I love you,'' said Liam and I kissed him as well and said ''love you baby''. Ethan replied, ''I love you too Mommy and Dae Dae'' and closed his eyes to go to sleep then Liam and I walked out of his room together. We walked back to the living room and took a seat on the sofa. I told Liam, ''Ethan really loves you. You`re a great father figure to him''. 

    ''Thank you I mean well you did give him my name for his middle name so it`s only right that I be here to show and prove.....right,'' ? ''Yes I did, of course, you was there for me from day one,'' I said. And that`s what I wanted to talk to you about. Blue, my brother and his girlfriend want to meet you. I`m always speaking highly of you and about you and Ethan that they already love you as a sister and Ethan as a nephew because of how I f***s with yall,'' Liam said. I asked, ''Liam what if they`re just saying that and turn out to hate me,'' I asked''? ''But they`re  not Blue, I`m telling you they love you and you haven`t even been in their presence yet.

      I`m so sorry and I overstand if you never trust me again but they know everything about what that devil did to you and how Ethan got here but you`re my friend and their my family...they overstand''. I started to cry and Liam wanted to know what was wrong. I didn`t respond due to my sobbing and Liam firmly but sensually grabbed me pulling me into his arms telling me that knowone will  hurt me again. ''Don`t stress it goddess believe me you`ll find someone to loves you the way you should be loved. You can`t....can`t let your past, although yes very traumatic what happened between you and your ex and I know it may take a while but you can`t let that stop you from having a future Blue. Don`t let that bastard win,'' Liam said. I looked Liam in his eyes and hugged him. "Thanks for always supporting me friend.

       You know what Liam...fine. I`ll meet Mason and Tiana,'' I said. With excitement he said,'' Great, how about tomorrow night, you`re off any way''. I accepted the invitation or rather we, me and Ethan accepted it. He asked, ''say about 7:00 for dinner at my house'' asked Liam? ''That`s sounds fine. I have to run some errands tomorrow but that`ll be cool,'' I said. Blue can I ask you a question,'' Liam asked? ''Sure love what is it,'' I said as I allowed him to ask the question. ''If you don`t mind, what is Ethan father`s whole name,'' Liam asked? ''His name is Mark Daniel Longson. Now I got a question for you Liam. Liam, how do I tell Griffinn about Ethan and how will he receive him,'' I asked? ''Well maybe you need to make sure you want this with him before you bring Ethan into all of this,'' Liam said.

      ''You`re right I do need to make sure it`ll work but he makes me feel good and safe in a way I`ve never felt before. Any type of feeling of love I may thought that I had Mark, my father and my brothers took that away from me. But out of all of this I got one good thing and that`s Ethan. While expressing myself to Liam I started crying again and Liam pulled me into his arms again. Liam allowed me to pour my heart out letting all my feelings out until I couldn`t  cry anymore. He told me , ''Blue trust me they`ll pay for what they did to you, that`s a promise from me and Mason''. 

     I laid in Liam arms and cried until I fell asleep. As I was asleep I can feel Liam picking me up and carrying me to my bedroom. When he put down on the bed I awoke and as he was about to leave the room I called for him not to leave but please stay. He obliged, came back in the room, got back in the bed behind me. Liam texted his brother Mason to let him know that he won`t be coming home tonight. He`ll be over my rest and me and E will be over tomorrow night for a meet, greet and eat. Mason returned Liam`s text by saying that it was great to be finally able to meet me after seeing  and being around Ethan so much and that he`ll let Tiana know  so she`ll burn some fly god degree. He put his phone down on the night table, held me tight sending vibratory frequencies that everything will be okay as long as I have him as a best friend. That made me feel good inside until sleep took over.
